10 February Sorry to resign games. Difficuties with computers. Should be back in a few months.
071005 I am now playing a game against a much higher ranked player where they agreed to drop their queen early in the game. It is a really good learning experience. Of course I explained to my opponent that if by some chance i could win I would resign a move before i checkmated my opponent. I would not want a win where the opponent had deliberately sacrificed their queen in order to even the game.
I do not use the buddy list anymore because it does not provide any benefits such as group mailouts etc.

I am sure this CT Art rating is wrong - but it is my rating and i am keeping it:)

Mon 5/9/05 Mouse not working properly, difficult to make moves mon 15/8/05 will be really busy for next few months - fewer challenges accepted, less time to play chess wednesday 15/6/05 really busy for about a week 29/5/05 1301 10/2/05 I prefer not to resign. I dont mind at all if my opponent resigns:) - as it is their prerogative. But as a beginner I need all the experience of end games I can get. If you see that a checkmate is inevitable and you want me to resign please send me a list of the moves that make it inevitable and I will resign. 3/2/05 I have a general rule that I dont send information about myself over the internet.eg suburb I live in, work etc I enjoy general discussions about ideas etc.
3/2/05 15/1/05 difficulty opening site for several hours, site crashes if move between some screens, it is delaying play 3/1/05 rating 1257. I may have to put it in for repair and not have time to send individual emails or set vacation. So if I stop playing, it is because of computer problems. 040304 I'm trying to play 14 day games now as I am having troubles with my internet connection and I dont want to time out . But I'll play shorter games on request.
I don't feel confident enough to play in teams yet.
