I took correspondence instruction in the 1980s from International Grandmaster, and several times U.S. Champion, Samuel Reshevsky.
I won two USCF Tournaments and one World ICCF Tournament which included opponents from Russia and the Nederland among others.
At the candidates match in Zurich, 9 Soviet Grandmasters prearranged several results in games amongst themselves to successfully prevent the overall victory by Reshevsky. I will be my former teacher's avenger.
