I am really enjoying playing chess and am very interested in getting much better at it. For in six days the Lord thy God made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day; wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day , and hallowed it". Exodus 20:8-11. The 4th Commandment, The Holy Bible. (I am a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian, and attend church on Saturday, the original Seventh-day Sabbath).
I know very well that we are saved by Grace and not by the keeping of the Law, but I also know that God wants us to keep His Law - The Royal Law, The Decalogue, The 10 Commandment Law, The Law of Liberty (all the same Law) - because The Law is a reflection of His Character, and God is identified in The Fourth Commandment as the Creator of the Universe. In that Fourth Commandment is The Seal of God. The Ten Commandments is not Moses Law. The Ten Commandments were written on Mount Horeb, the true Mount Sinai, by the finger of God Himself.
This is the beautiful place where I live, seen from my living room window. It is the Olympic National Park, and the Olympic Mountains, in Washington State, USA.
