                 I have been a born again Christian, the denomination of which is not important, for the past 40+ years. If desired, I will gladly share my testimony with you via private message.

My beautiful wife, Teresa, and I have been married for 20+ years. We have no children. However, we do have a furry family member. Lacey is a Chi / Pom mix, and she continues to bring us great joy.

I enjoy hiking; camping; landscape and waterscape photography; writing; web design; teaching computer skills; and, of course, chess.

I founded the Knights of Honor Chess Club in 2008. The club was established to provide a platform by which ones chess skills/tactics/strategies could be improved. The club's threads provide challenges and informative tips; the club sponsors member tournaments; and we have several highly rated members who coach. Check out the club at gameknot.com. In the summer of 2009, I and two other club founders initiated "Club Founders. Club Founders was jointly founded by 4boys, tennesseehiker and johnclark for the benefit all of Gameknot clubs.
CF’s purpose is to promote and further the success of Gameknot’s various clubs through the exchange of suggestions and proven ideas.
