We are glad that you're on our team. Our team has two objectives. The first is to have fun. We do that by enjoying the spirit of being on a fantastic team. We all believe that we can become better chess players by fraternizing with one another and by helping each other improve. The second objective is win games. Let's face it, no one likes to lose a chess game. That brings me back to the team goal: help one another.
All of the team leaders -- captain and co-captains -- are here to make your experience on team Triton fun and challenging. To that end, we're here to serve you! We all have an open door policy. We welcome ideas and suggestions. We won't take your money (GameKnot wants that), but we will partake of your enthusiasm and your chess mastery.
There are a lot of teams out there, but what I think sets us apart is the respect and enthusiasm of the group. We have as much fun as one can in the cyber-chess world!
And yes...the photo is that of Triton...not a god...just a dog...and a lovable one that that...we call him the Lump...because he is.
Insofar as setting up matches, please feel free to outline your preferences. Some like three days, while others like seven. It doesn't matter which you choose. Your next chess victory is lurking right around the corner.
The captain and co-captains will do our best to set up matches so that your are not more than 50 ELO points above or below your average rating. If you really want to take on someone more challenging (let's say 100 points over your average), let us know, but bear in mind that we rise and fall in the rankings as a group,

Timeout Policy: Obviously, we don't like them. We as a team decided a 5% timeout rate against challengers is acceptable. We need to give the other teams the same respect. Please set your team preferences to a level you are comfortable with.
