1. c4
This is a fairly short game from my tournament

1... b5
Starting position

2. e4 Bb7 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. d3 e5 5. Nxb5 c6
Although this blocks in my lsb it opens a line for my queen to a5

6. Nc3 Bc5 7. Nf3 Qb6 8. Na4 Qa5+ 9. Bd2 Bb4 10. Be2 Bxd2+ 11. Kf1
Blunder, surely Nxd2 is better

11... Bb4
As white has given me a freebie I retreat my bishop so I can hang on to it

12. b3 O-O 13. h3 d5
Tempting white to take the e5 pawn

14. Nxe5
which he does

14... dxe4
now his knight has limited options, the best probably being Ng4 as I won't take it because it will create a half open file for whites h rook to exploit

15. g3
blunders away another piece

15... Qxe5 16. d4 Qf5
Directly pressuring the area around whites king

17. Kg2 c5
This sacrificial move was too tempting for me to resist. I now have some threat with the exposed check from e3+

18. dxc5 e3+
White is in big trouble now, the most direct threat being Qxf2

19. f3 Nbd7
Looking to bring some more forces into the attack

20. g4 Qf4
Black is very weak on the black squares so my queen is pretty safe here

21. Nb2
Probably looking to fork my queen and bishop with Nd3 however that plan is too slow white needed something more immediate e.g. Qd6

21... Ne4
I was very pleased with this move, white is now under severe pressure.

22. fxe4
A fatal mistake as my queen now has a clear line to the lovely f2 square

22... Qf2#
