I played this match with the idea of playing aggressively against a strong opponent to see how i did. Recently i have played well against the Sicilian so was confident of getting into a good position however I decided to play a bit more cavalier and opted for a king side pawn rush that would leave me a pawn down and my king open to counter attacking. The upside to the plan though was i had good attacking options and my opponents position was slightly cramped and under some strain. However after looking through and analysing it, perhaps I was alittle lucky with blacks choice of moves. |

the obvious threat on the Bishop. This move was debated for awhile as it opens my king side, however I thought it could be the start of a pawn rush if i saw fit in the future development of the game but before that i would have to reinforce the kingside. |

I decided to go for the pawn rush after my opponent castled. felt i had enough ammo to make a decent attack and cause my opponent some problems as he does have a rather cramped position. |

Attacking e6 and trying to cause black problems. In my first note i said i thought i had my opponent strained, however if black plays 21..., Ne5 he has and excellent counterattacking position. Black now has the advantage! |
