Yes: It's clear what Black is after, but she overlooked White's response, it seems. 37...Rc2+ forcees a pair of rooks off, after which White's Q-side is practically defenceless. White would probably have had to look to his K-side chances to stay in the game. What a remarkable turnaround!

Yes, the white squared weakness is critical. . Chasing after the dark squared pawn gives white an underserved reprieve.

White doesn't have to initiate the exchange. Given the eight hundred point rating difference, he might have still managed a draw. There is no way he would have resigned yet, even if he knew his position was lost. You can still play losing positions and win sometimes.

Not sure if it wins for black, but I prefer 41...Rxg2! then 42.Rxg2 Bxf3+ gets at least 2 pawns back unless white decides to play Kh6 and capture the h7 pawn. Also think you might of missed a winning opportunity on move 42 with 42....Bxf3 43.g3 Rg4+ (43.gxf3 Rxf3 loses a rook for white).

White has allowed himself to get into a bind. There doesn't seem to be any good way of bringing his King back into the action, cut off as he is by the g8-rook. 48.g4 f4!? 49.Be7 (say) Bc6 attacking two sickly White pawns. If 49.Kh3 Bc6 50.Kg2 h5.

White might try g3 and Kg2.
