You can see that 13. c3 has bottled-up White. The White queen can no longer to to f3, and the knight can no longer be developed to d2 without loss. The White bishop has only one square, the a1 rook has no square. You may want to resign this one and we can look at another one. You need to look at each of the moves in this game. For the White moves, ask: What moves are better? For the Black moves ask: Did I see that when I played my move? You need to do this in every game you play. It is how you learn the better moves. Al

There are no good moves for white. Nd3 was as good as any. The Kings Gambit configuration works well for attack, but can respond poorly in defense. We'll work on it. Al
