Your man
dmaestro has a rather unfortunate habit of premature resignation. I haven't the foggiest why. The annotator is correct here: White has the better of it, but only because Black seems to have gone wrong somehow in the last move or so. Right now, 27.Bb3! puts Black in immediate danger. First, how to save the bishop? E.g. 27...Bd8 and now the King hunt begins: 28.Re6+ Kb5 29.Bc4+ Ka4 30.Bd2! and Black will have to start shedding if he wants to stop 31.Bb3+ Kb5 32.a4#. So the bishop has no moves, and, one would infer, simply protecting the thing leads to the same hunt. Best for Black seems to be (27.Bb3) Ne4 28.Bc2 Rxf4 29.Nxf4 Nf2+ 30.Kg1 Qf7 31.g3 (threatening 32.Rxe7!) and although White has lots of threats, Black is by no means out of the game.
