28... Rh8 29. g4
29. g4 - pushes my passer one square closer to Glendadom and more crucially opens a defensive line from Fou Lenoir to h2.

30. g5 - my passer is attacked by the Witch. He moves still closer to Glendadom and seeks protection from Fou Lenoir.

31. Rg1
31. Rg1 - my other rook now comes into play. If Henry is compelled to move from g2 then my passer will have protection from the back on the way to Glendadom (g8).

31... Qe7 32. Re3
32. Re3 - stops Qe2+ - rook protected by Fou Lenoir.

32... Qf7
32. Qf7 - attacks Fou Lenoir.

33. Rf1
33. Rf1 - before I moved the rook here my opponent expressed some frustration at being unable to get at Henry. I hope this move holds things together. To test this theory I decided to offer my opponent a draw - reason for this - see my intro note. To my intense relief he is content to bag 5 rating points. I have some of my other active games which look promising and hope to convert at least one of them to make up the lost points here. Hope you have had a good read. Cheers and bye for now - Joanne
