Annotated chess game

No 'very nearly' about it: the position after 34...Ra2 (a waiting move) was indeed 'zugzwang'. Any move White made would have been a concession. Deferring the evil day by 35.c4 would have led simply yo 35...a4 36.c5 a3, and then what?

This is one of the clearest cut positional games I've ever seen - very easy to understand what's going on. A good one to annotate, Joanne.
