Bg5+ Kf8 then what I don't see the forced mate.

The only move to play on was 23...Qxf7, and who would want to play that? Minus a piece, Black would have had little chance. Incidentally, after 24.Bg5+, White had a forced mate... [Response to yoshark: Before detailing the mate after 24.Bg5+, this is not to criticise the move chosen, which also leads to a clear cut win, if not a forced mate. Here it s: 24.Bg5+ Kf8 25.Bh6+ [a] 25...Ke7 26.Nd6+ Qf7 27.Rxf7+ Kd8 28.Nb7# and [b] 25...Kg8 26.Rh8+ Kxf7 27.Rf1+ Ke7 28.Bg5#.

Good game. Although ...b6 gave White an edge, it was the miscalated capture at a2 that lost Black the game. That a2-sqaure seems to be rather a fatal one for Joanne in these lines.
