1. c4 e5
English opening and e5 is usually referred to as the reverse sicillian

2. Nc3 Nf6 3. g3 Nc6 4. Bg2
My favourite Bremen variation

4... Bc5 5. e3 O-O 6. Nge2 d6 7. O-O Bb6 8. d4
This is the main aim of the english opening. Allowing black to build a centre knowing that it can be dealt with.

8... Re8 9. d5
Establishes a strong central bridgehead controlling space

9... Ne7 10. Na4 Ba5 11. b3 Bf5 12. h3 h6 13. Nec3 c6
A little better was e4 controlling space and preventing whites e4

14. e4 Bg6 15. dxc6 bxc6 16. Be3 Qd7 17. a3 Bc7
Black's 1st inaccuracy. better was c5 doubling the coverage of d4 and also protecting b4.

18. b4
Notice that each pawn move has a purpose. In this case space control giving whites pieces more freedom

18... Red8 19. Qe2 Qc8 20. Rfd1
Bringing the R into the game and aiming for control of the semi open d-file

20... Qe6 21. Kh2
Ready to protect h3 if the B gets involved in exchanges over e4

21... Kh7 22. Rd2 Nc8 23. Rc1 Ne7 24. f3 Nh5 25. Bf2 Kh8
Dont see the point of Kh8? better was f6 supporting e5 and giving the LSB an escape route

26. Rcd1 Nf6 27. h4
Grabbing more space and preparing for Bh3 to attack the Q

27... Qc8 28. Bh3 Qb7 29. b5 c5 30. Qe3 Nfg8
Passive. Better was Nh5 which prevents g4 as this would allow Nf4 giving a strong N in whites territory and pushing the LSB off of the good diagonal

31. g4 f6 32. h5 Bf7 33. Bf1
Black is building an attack Q-side so this to counteract it

33... Qc8 34. Qe2 Qb8 35. Kg1 Ba5 36. Be3 a6 37. Rb2 Qc7 38. Qc2 Nc8 39. Nd5 Qb7 40. Rdb1 axb5 41. Rb2xb5 Qa6 42. Rb5b7 Be8 43. Bd3 Rd7 44. Rb7b3 Bd8 45. Nac3 Nge7 46. Nb5 Nc6 47. Bf2 Kg8 48. Kg2 Nc8e7 49. Bh4 Qc8
White has held a small advantage for the last 30 moves but good play from black has puled the game back to level.

50. Bxf6
Now an attempt to open up the game in front of the K

50... gxf6 51. Nxf6+ Kf7 52. Nxd7 Qxd7 53. Qd2 Kg7 54. Be2
better was Nc3 preparing to swing the troops for a k-side attack

54... Nd4 55. Nxd4 cxd4 56. Rb3b7 Qe6 57. Rb7b8 Rxb8 58. Rxb8 Nc6 59. Ra8 Bg5 60. Qb2 Nd8 61. Qb6
mistake? looking to exchange R for N & B. bettre was Ra6 or a4

61... Qf6
and black jumps at the chance. setting up for Bh4 and Qf4 threatening a mate

62. c5 Qf4 63. Qxd6 Bh4 64. Kh1 Qg3 65. Ra7+
The noose is tightening so white has to go on the attack

65... Nf7 66. Qg6+ Kf8 67. Rxf7+ Bxf7 68. Qxh6+ Kg8 69. Qc1
A rare endgame miscalculation by white. Qc1 seems good but correct was Qd2 lookiing to get to h2 and force a Q swap
