I would've played 12...Qxc1, but this should force your win sooner, as the K is forced away from the center. In fact, you might have a mating sequence here.

This check seems to win quickly, now.

Better, by one move, than Kf3.

Forcing the win again. And, I also enjoyed playing through this game.

The King is certainly an aggressive piece in this type of game! I'm starting to wonder if maybe bringing the King out early is a winning stratagem after all.
