new annotations
Game won, congratulations! Resignation note from thewrongreason: Well played. I anticipated you taking the Q and was ready to exchange. But, I overlooked that QXR was check since I was pinned. A couple of other variations came to mind, and there's only one that I would've played which would've been ...axb5, instead. But, you would've answered with Qxb5. Better, which I didn't even consider would've been ...Qa5+, but it doesn't hold that much longer after Nc3. So, in all variations, I was lost. GG, Ron. And, this will be annotated in the near future, btw. Your rating: 2148 (unchanged, unrated game) Game vs. thewrongreason ยป Request computer analysis gameknot.com

It was similar to what I had in my game notes, as Ron saw. But, there was a lot that went on which had to be annotated. I had fun with the actual game, despite the mistakes. I, most certainly, had a lot of fun with that game.

Joe puts a lot into annotations and that is where I learned to do some annotations myself. I also have done some YouTube type chess video's from saving the screen before while playing actual chess games. Not so much these days but I did try that for a while years ago.

This is a new one. But, somewhat similar to others, I didn't annotate this. Instead, Stockfish 5 did with their analysis. I forgot and remembered, back and forth, about Sherlock Holmes. And, the reason was me figuring out that chess really is a war. I started realizing it with that video about how brutal chess is. That is, GM Kasparov talks about how the game started which was on Susan's blogspot, as well. As I was posting, that game with Sherlock got stuck in my head, and, I found out that this game was a prequil to that game in the movie, which I saw a while back. gameknot.com

As with before, Stockfish annotated this game. gameknot.com And, this was the sequil which wasn't shown in the movie. But, it was at the end of the book, as I read on chess.com.

This was my recent annotation. gameknot.com It's unlikely that I would've posted it here, but I was able to get a draw against this master in a Q odds game.
