Silent Partners
I noticed I've more than a few members to this club who have yet to cut their teeth forum wise. I shall hope you read but do not write, in which case this is the thread for all to come forth from the shadows and venture an opinion or two! Ha ha ha perhaps I should have taken a leaf out of Tyler Durden's book and insisted all new members had to make a post! Come now, don't be shy. Join or begin a new thread! Actually I'll facilitate with a nice, easy question. What's your favourite opening as White, and why? King's pawn for me! Why? Because what is sauce for Bobby Fischer is sauce for the Tipsy! Also it's probably the most aggressive opening you can find, you begin by unfurling your banner smack bang in the centre, like Charles I raising his standard at Nottingham. (And for Tipsy, I tend to fare just as well as Charles, but working on it!)
