i have actually stayed out of this whole saga..and he knew he was testing the boundaries.
I don't wish to compare another club with that of mrm's..nor do i think that anyone would push things that far that they upset people on the site.
I did take offence and i admit where both my team and this club were attacked by him and yes i did report him twice.
I never did attack him nor did any of my team members..in fact i actually had a lot of time for him..until then.
Any other reports were made from other people...we all need to realize we all have feelings and therefore should treat each other with respect.
There i have flapped my gums on the topic.

@jkarp
Okay I'll take a look thanks. And @bears1, you are very right indeed. I was raised well, so I know that disrespect is unacceptable and unallowable, so be nice to each other. Why am I saying that? Look for kind conversation in the dictionary and you'll find The Alternative Chess Club

I "met" some good people in that club so I enjoyed it while it lasted. It was interesting & fun but the club was also doomed from the start.
MM likes to stir things up & instead of ignoring him when he got out of line a couple of people decided to try to control him. You don't control a guy like MM so he went off like he did.
I got a message that the moderators threw me off the team, then found out the whole club closed down so I wasn't actually thrown out of the club.
It all ended sudden & a little weird. Too bad.

@bears1: I apologize. The reason that I made the comparison was to help joveyboy1 out, if he wanted to a member of another club which would give him enjoyment. I absolutely agree with bears1, as well. Once the founder started doing what he did, I lost interest in him. @joveyboy: I was raised the same way. I like it when people are respectful of one another. I remember being attacked in a similar manner before I even heard about GK, when I was a freshman in High School. I certainly did not like the way it felt and, henceforth, felt offended. This is why I always believe in the Golden Rule, which states, "Treat other's the way you'd want to be treated."

I never heard of that before, but it is so true! And although I'm sure we've all had moments where we couldn't hold back our anger against someone, remembering a motto like that can help you stay calm, and in response likely help the person you talk to calm them self as well.

Ad Hominem
...literally from Latin, "to the person". Defined by Merriam-Webster as

1: appealing to feelings or prejudices rather than intellect
2: marked by or being an attack on an opponent's character rather than by an answer to the contentions made

The way I see it is that as long as a person sticks to the content of the positions and points of the arguments, the exchange of ideas tend to be respectful, civil, witty and thought provoking.

So very true, I agree.

I am now going to state that Chess Warriors has nothing to do with me.
Joe ...you are a nice guy and all...but you took on the team and i put it now in the past...
There will be no more help from me for co captains...as the old saying goes ...you bought it..you deal with it.
No bad feelings but the guys that have come across to me are THE TRITONS...and they always will be....
We may succeed or not to 1st...i am too old and need a smaller team as we have done...
Good Luck buddy!
