![]() 37 As it was at the time of Noah, so it will be with the coming of the Son of Man. 38 In the days before the flood, people were busy making lives for themselves: they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, making plans and having children and growing old, until the day Noah entered the ark. 39 Those people had no idea what was coming; they knew nothing about the floods until the floods were upon them, sweeping them all away. That is how it will be with the coming of the Son of Man. Luke 17:28-30The Voice (VOICE) 28 It was just the same in the days of Lot. People were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building, and carrying on business as usual. 29 But then came the day when Lot left Sodom—a different kind of rain began to fall, and they were all destroyed by fire and sulfur falling from the sky.30 That’s how it will be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 2 Peter 3:3-7Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 3 It is important for you to understand what will happen in the last days. People will laugh at you. They will live following the evil they want to do. 4 They will say, “Jesus promised to come again. Where is he? Our fathers have died, but the world continues the way it has been since it was made.” 5 But these people don’t want to remember what happened long ago. The skies were there, and God made the earth from water and with water. All this happened by God’s word. 6 Then the world was flooded and destroyed with water. 7 And that same word of God is keeping the skies and the earth that we have now. They are being kept to be destroyed by fire. They are kept for the day of judgment and the destruction of all people who are against God. Revelation 22:11Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 11 Let anyone who is doing wrong continue to do wrong. Let anyone who is unclean continue to be unclean. Let anyone who is doing right continue to do right. Let anyone who is holy continue to be holy.” |

![]() So in that sense you are right. Many of you are doing what He said you would do. Those that know Him are obeying all that He said. Those that reject what He said. Are rejecting Him as He said you would. All of you that take issue with The Word Of God, or those that are speaking it. Do not know or do not care to know the cost of sin. Should remember one very important point. Jesus said................ Matthew 4:4King James Version (KJV) 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Which is a message to all that know and do not know Him. Even the one who was tempting Him, had to shut up and move on, to a different approach. |

![]() Wouldn't it be better if we did our best in this world and not wait for Jesus to return ? |

![]() One must remember also The Word clearly answers your statement.................... 2 Peter 3:3-10King James Version (KJV) 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. God wants all of mankind to come to Christ. Christ is the ark of Salvation. All that come to him are under His protection. All that come to Him, have recognized and come to the conclusion. that their best is not enough to please God. |
