Thanks bud.
I've been busy moving 'stuff' from the upper end of the property to the lower field (better access). I had a black bear walk past my front door the other day when I was walking out of it. He was magnificent! Thick, flawless black fir with a shimmer of brown at the tips. I guestimate him at about 350lbs. I couldn't help myself so followed him for a while but he started running when he noticed me behind him... what a wimp.

I've also gotten back into welding/fabricating. Oddly enough I seem to be good enough at it that people actually pay me money to do it.

The weather forecast says it's going to hit 113f by next week. It's been in the 90s here so we've spent a fair amount of time kayaking the rivers. We're going out again Thurs... on the Kettle river this time. Should be a fun run. It'll take about 5 hours to cover the route.

West Virginia is well known --- some say "famous" --- for it's kayak runs.

Nice to see all you trailer park, F250, confederate flag waving, Mack truck hat having, Obama hating, PBR drinking, teeth missing, LARRY THE CABLE GUY listening, hillbillies are back posting again. Didn't see ya'll folks posting in a while, though maybe a meth lab exploded or NASCAR moved to Canada or something.

I'm not an 'advanced' kayaker who frolics in class 3-4 rapids. Just out playing with friends. The biggest water so far has been class 1 with a very short section of class 2.

I ocean kayaked in the Sound so this river stuff is different but fun. Our last run had 8 boats in the group with a couple of us fishing as we made our way down river... We caught 3 bass and a trout.

YES IT IS, and some of the "deep woods banjo" around here is very good.

Thump: West Virginia is famous for it's class- 3,4 rapids and class-5 waterfalls as well as the more serene.

It would be "good banjo" to anybody who knows "good banjo" when they hear it.

There's a local store 1/2 mile from my house where talent meets to jam Blue Grass, and there's a banjo player among them who would be appreciated in New Orleans.

I was happy to see that the "Taken" threat was included in your link --- it's one of my all-time favorites. That: "I WILL find you, and I WILL kill you" is a classic that was eventually well executed.
