I saw this yesterday and was amazed.

Honestly, though, it no longer seems like it is a galaxy far, far away. I think we are moving along a path that is turning the impossible into reality.

We have a lot of potential. We spend a lot of it wrecking things, building weapons and hurting each other. It is too bad we don't harness the best of us in the things we look to achieve.

DOK
As long as fear is our main motivator this will not change. Imagine if love and generosity were our main motivators?

I cant act like I am above this tho. I love helping people when I can but fear is still the main motivator in my life. I think its all of ours. The world is a crazy place, getting worse all the time.

Well, we are building things that are good for us too.

My wife has a new smart phone that has way more power than the computers that took astronauts to the moon.

It can take her vital signs and transmit them to a doctor. It can download a movie, a book, or internet information. She can review and send her e-mails, text messages and even make phone calls. She can review, receive or send her pictures

She can set a destination into it and have it give her directions and a moving map in order to get there. If she still makes a wrong turn, it will calculate a new route and direct her from there.

She can write documents, texts, or emails verbally and the phone understands.

My phone can ring when people call. Unless I have bad service.

I had to get a new phone too, because the wife needed to upgrade the service. So far, it rings when somebody calls but I haven't yet figured out how to answer it!

The technology is great but the operator has to keep up with it, and I'm getting a little slow(er).

I can't get phone service at my place... It takes 45 minutes to walk to my neighbors house... Studded snow tires with chains are a requirement.

Sounds like you and Sasquatch are neighbors. Did you come down out of the wilderness to thaw out and find out how your Seahawks are doing?

It's warm up here now... 30 degrees. After weeks of single digit temps that's a heat wave. I do have radio signal so can listen to the game if I'm not out roaming the hills on foot. I'm in town on errands now so have comp access and decided to check in. I'll be off in about 20 minutes. Sasquatch is a good neighbor but I wish he'd take a shower.
