It's been a while, but I played a WTW training game with Coach Stockel. Most of the time, I'd annotate it, right away. But, because a tournament is still ongoing in my club, annotating the tournament game takes precedence. When, however, all is said and done, with annotating my tournament games, then I'll annotate this one. So, it'll take 2-4 weeks, but, I think closer to 2 before I annotate this game. It was last Friday since I played 2 tournament games, and had to stay out of this one. Then, Jack said, "I'd like to work with you because you keep losing these tournament games." I said, yes, but it's not in only 10 or 15 minutes like you've seen before and stressed. He said, "True, but even with taking your time, you shouldn't keep losing." Now, I don't fully agree with him. Yes, I agree that taking your time is essential, but I don't agree that you should win a game. For me, it's not winning or losing but learning, which I'm getting from ION's commentary in the annotations. So, he coached me here, and it turned into a WTW training game since he mated me, with me as white. It went: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Be7 4.0-0 Nf6 5.Ng5 0-0 6.Nc3 d6 7.d3 Bg4 8.f3 Bh5 9.Be3 h6 10.Bxf7+?! Rxf7 11.Nxf7 Kxf7 12.Qd2 Kg8 13.Nb5 a6 14.Na3 d5 15.exd5 Nxd5 16.Bf2 Bg5 17.Qe2 Nf4 18.Qe4 Qf6 19.Qc4+ Kh8 20.Rfe1 Nxg2 21.Qe4?? Bxf3 22.Qc4 Bf4 23.Rf1 Bxh2+ 24.Kxh2 Qg6 25.Bh4 Nxh4 26.Qxh4 Qg2#

Ok, after a while of my last WTW annotation, I had completed another WTW game with Coach Stockel last Friday. I'd normally annotate this game right away, but what I've learned overtime with both work and chess (primarily to keep my job) is that time is not always on my side. In fact, it's often against me, when I work during the night shift, as I have to keep monitoring the time in order to stay on the same bed time schedule, for example. And, a student asked me to annotate a game. Once that's done, and I get a little more time, I'll be annotating my WTW game and posting it in this club.

There was another game that I finished against Master Nathan Resika. Unfortunately, I didn't notate during a Q odds game, and now I regret it. I felt that it would be difficult to annotate without the Q, but it's not so difficult. And, it turned out to be a WTW game as well. Not only that, but the place that runs Jack's club is closed until further notice due to covid-19. What I learned is that if I have a Q odds game with Nathan, I'll notate, just in case, it becomes a WTW game, again.
