pieces incorrectly attributed

This, perhaps one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written, is generally (always!) attributed to Tomaso Albinoni (1671-1751) - "Albinoni's Adagio". Yet, it was almost certainly not composed by him (except perhaps for some small fraction), but by his biographer Giazotto. See

thats a well know piece!!
but i bet it is still attributed to Tomaso. I wonder how many great pieces of Music or wonderful Inventions are stolen by someone else?. Thanks stal. Every time the truth comes out we are the better for it. Well done ; GIAZOTTO'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to say
This extremely famous piece is indeed just about 100% attributed to Albinoni! What is interesting, in my view, is that it is quite clear that it was written by Giazotto, who was Albinoni's biographer (and, I guess, fan), and written in a way that Albinoni might have done it! Often enough we have the opposite, individuals claiming work by others to be their own. This is different!
