About the Elite club moderator(s)
Basically,at this time,I have decided to be the only moderator in this club. The club is relatively small in members yet,so I see no problem with one person(me)being able to view the content of any posts and police or delete them as time goes on....(if necessary). If,on the other hand, the club grows into a large amount of members like some of the other clubs, then I may decide to ask for assistance, but it is not necessary at this time.Someone just recently asked me if they could be a moderator, but I declined for the reasons I listed above. In addition,if you take a look at the posts, there does not seem to be alot of present input from many members or anyone really starting any new posts. In other words,i'm doing 95% of the writing! So,again,no need for moderators at this time...ha ha!

So,i'll be glad to let into the club your best friend or worse enemy on your ignore list,if thats what you want...just tell them to apply! But for now,i'm that dude at the club door that will either let you in this exclusive club or throw you back into the parking lot with your white suit and bow tie getting all full of mud and axle grease when you hit the asphalt!Hey,not just anyone is getting inside!I'll be the "judge"of that!Ha ha! Hey,I need a new battery for my car and Interstate batteries are expensive!Hmmmmmmm......$$!

Also, let me add, that in the past when I had another club(now deleted)and replaced it with this club,I was new at starting a club and running it,not sure of all the best things to do...so I went all out with immediately giving moderator rights to several members which I later deemed unnecessary, especially with only a few members and not alot of posts.I really meant to not start all kinds of moderators anyway. So I took away the moderator rights of like 2 or 3 people.Sometimes its best to have just one moderator in small clubs. One of the reasons is that some of the moderators can leave into a club others who may be "undesirable" or not wanted by others to be in my club due to hidden ignore lists and other reasons,so I feel its important to have more of a lid on this and to be regulated by one person, rather than several.

So,unfortunately,I had atleast one member(who's name I will not mention)leave my past club simply because I demoted them from moderator to regular member. This is,of course, highly immature and shows me personally that this past member really had no true interest in my club to begin with, even after I explained the situation. There was,for example, very little input from these individuals anyway and moderation was unnecessary. But trying to logically explain something to a young immature individual is usually impossible.I would get a more intelligent response from my echo off of a wall. Its like, may I add,"oh no,you took one of my stripes away, and now i'm going to cry like a baby"!I'll show you TA,i'm going to leave your club for doing such an awful thing to me!Who do you think you are,TA?This is the thoughts going through an "immature"mind.Trust me,if I was a member of another club and was a moderator, and the creator of that club "demoted"me to just a regular member,i'd thank him!!For in reality,I would not want the job of continually monitoring others posts in a club that was not originated by myself. This is the difference between a well seasoned and deeper thinking chess site member like myself and someone who crys like a baby because they lost some "power"in a small club in the middle of the milky way on a planet that the rest of the universe does not know about. The thoughts of maybe trying to improve my club(without the need for moderation)far exceeds the selfish desire to have "moderation power"in a small club that dosen't need it.You heard the statement before..."too many generals, but not enough officers"?If one truly has "genuine"thoughts of improving a club, they would not be concerned with the little things of losing moderation power and then leave because of such a small issue.
So lets add "self centered"to immature. And this individual knows who they are, regardless of how "popular"they are or the following they have.I see right through you!!!!You can fool others, but not me!

Yes,I have an ignore list too.And I added 3 more to my permanent list not long ago....and for good reason. These people can argue till they are blue in the face, but they have highly flawed thinking

Normally, I don't have an opinion on this, but I think that it's ironic that one would get made just because he or she was demoted from a club moderator to a member. I mean, Gameknot says, "The club founder can promote regular club members to moderator status, or take it back at any time."

Yes,but its true Joe.Someone left the last club because they were demoted. There was no other reason, because right after that person messaged me and ask why they were demoted and I answered them, minutes later they left the club...so it all fits like a tight glove. So,if this person tells you otherwise,Joe,they are a liar, period. And someone else left mainly due to the fact of my deletions on religious issues relative to the Koran which I prewarned ahead was going to happen.I prefer no religious or political issues in my club.I was guilty myself of writing a few things relative to what what developing into too much hatred being tossed around(justified or not)and I thought it best to delete some entire threads on those issues, which is my right as moderator.Issues like religion are not important in a club for learning chess, like the Elite Chess Club.Joe,I simply say it the way it is,and if someone dosen't like the truth, then they are always free to leave the club.Call it pulling weeds on the fakes who only want to be in a club for some kind of power issue and when their strips are reduced a rank, they right away want to cry foul.Like I said Joe,some people will never grow up.I understand some people, better than they understand themselves, even if I never met them personally.I have a degree in Psychology and can tell things just the way they write or respond back to me or their "actions".I love "exposing"people for who they "really" are.If they don't like it....tough!
