instant replay
well I quess it was going to happen. I am a baseball purist but I lived through the dh and wild card teams so I quess I will adapt. I just hope it don't slow the game down to much.

say it ain't so
instant replay totally violates the fundamental basis of professional baseball, that the game is essentially played the same way children could play it on a sandlot. at least Baseball is still the only team sport Not played against a clock

Cubs Fan
I am a long suffering Cubs fan. Going to Wrigley Field is on by bucket list. Albuqueque is the triple a affiliate of the Dodgers so I go a couple times a year . I live in a very small town in New Mexico and spend a lot of time being involved in the promotion of youth baseball. I checked out some of ur games u are a hellava a player. My goal is just to reach the 1500 mark one day. I have played off an on for years but now that I am retired have some more time to play and learn. I want to get about ten to twelve more members in this club.I want true baseball fans. I have loved and played baseball my entire life. It is part of Americana. Its history is a social string of America itself. The NFL may be Americas futuretime but baseball is and always will be Americas pastime,,, Go Cubs

out at the ballgame
yes, Wrigley Field is pure baseball, last survivor of the Federal League, and so much a part of the city you can even see the ballfield while going by on the el. The ultimate ballgame has got to be a Cubs game at Wrigley during the day, though the Orioles tried to duplicate the feel of street-level Baseball in the heart of the city when they built their new field at Camden Yards. But Wrigley's still the best -- I hope the massive renovations won't kill it.
