Most masks do not block the virus. They are small enough to pass through most masks. Human hair = 30 to 100 microns Virus = 0.3 - .005 microns Also, most masks I see are loose fitting, with no good seal around. The masks themselves can cause health problems due to less airflow and rebreathing CO2. If they really want to make masks mandatory, they should make only the right masks mandatory (N-95).
