I expect black to play Ndex5 when 15. h3 Nf6 16. f4 Ng6 17. Nxc6 Qd6 is forced

If 14...Ng4xe5, White will have slight advantage because White can drive away Black's Ne5 by 15.f4. Then, White's Nd4 can capture c6 pawn in the following diagram. If so, Black has to defend c6 pawn first by .....Rac8

Position after:
14.Nd4---Ng4xe5
15. f4
ace-of-aces

White's e5 pawn is Black's appetizer.
Either Black's Nd or Ng can capture White's e5 pawn but both moves are inferior to ....Rac8 after which the position is equal. I will be surprised if Black don't see this ---Rac8 prophylactic move first before e5 pawn is captured by N.

Bb7/Rac8/Ngxe5/Ndxe5 for Black
Now I guess is the waiting time to see which move Black will play .

Don't forget that Cyrano from opponent team has the rating of 2647, that is GM rank. I don't think he will advise to capture White's e5 pawn first which will be tantamount to blunder in a slow moving chess games with multiple players on each side. I speculate that the following moves will happen although there are good alternative moves for both sides.
14.Nd4---Rac8
15.a4----Ngxe5
16.a5---Ne5
17.axb6---axb6

I cracked the top 20, closer to the top ten a year ago on Gameknot. I was just shy of the 2600 mark

I don't anticipate Rac8. I think if they play that and we respond a4, we have roughly double white's initial advantage.

i agree with clashofpawns
i stayed a lot on this position ,i think Black next move or best possible one is Bb7

I agree with clashofpawns. I don't anticipate Rac8. I anticipate Ndxe5. To this move we should respond with 15.h3. I will give a more detailed analysis later right now I am very tired and must sleep for a few hours. I sleep in two to three-hour spurts and this contributes to keeping me tired.

I also expect Ndxe5 and was thinking h3 is a probably reply. But I will need to analyze more before I cast it as an official vote. I do remember h3 looking great though. Kicking the knight back to f6

If black plays Ndxe5
He will lose his extra pawn. More later once they have made their move.

The next few moves are forced. 15. h3 Nf6 16. f4 Ng6 17. Nxc6 Qd6 18. Ne5

black has a choice of: 18... Rac8, Bb7 and Rfd8

black did not play yet ?..i am watching their move

elyhim's moves are very sound. The 2 Ns are driven away by our h3 and f4 pawns. In his last diagram, Black cannot move 18....Nxe5 because 19.fxe5 will fork Black's N and Q. Black will lose N. Thanks for your analysis.

I vote 15...h3
There were three possible moves and black selected 14...Ndxe5. Upon further inspection there really isn't much difference between the three moves as far as worth goes. I now recommend that we proceed with 15.h3 kicking the Knight out. I expect the following sequence of moves:

15.h3 Nf6 16.f4 Ng6 17.Nxc6 and we recover our pawn with the better position. We could go much deeper into this but there would be little point in the at this time.

sequence outlined by elyhim and ipsissmus..H3
yes i agree H3 to start
ace-of-aces

I vote 15.h3
to be followed by 16. f4 to drive away Black's 2 Ns. Then we can eat delicious c6 pawn
ace-of-aces
19-Jan-18, 10:38

I still believe we the White has slight advantage after 17.Nxc6 because of the error they made. That is, Black's move ...Ndxe5 before protecting their c6 pawn by ...Rac8. They can still capture White'e e5 pawn by N even if they move Rac8 first.

I vote h3
Btw, I'd just like to state for the record that having a subject lien in a forum thread REPLY is stupid. Yet another thing about GK I'd change.

Anyway, 15. h3 is my vote

likely to be followed by 15..Nf6 16. f4 Ng6 and then Nxc6

I don't think black has equalized so we are looking fine here.

Clarify, what do you mean it is stupid ?
CoP you cannot compare the chess battles to real warfares where people die. We feel happy if we have an advantage or mate the opponent and win. It is having somewhat similar to sex ( for instance, mating in both cases ). Our N will wreak havoc in Black's heartland, I guess. This is the name of the game.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I was referring to a subject line being part of the posting process as being stupid. GK is a collection of bad web application and design processes. I wasn't saying anything about chess.

CoP
I believe I know what you are saying now. Secrecy and deceptions is the rule to win in both warfare and chess. When we discuss our plans ahead what to move next in our open thread, the opponents can make plans much better if they have access to our plans and vice versa. So. your question is, " It is very stupid to play chess like this, when the moves are open secrets for both sides." We are not supposed to look at each other secret plans in another threads. The analogy is similar to current politics in US. It is a taboo to hack each other's emails but they do. To prevent this, GK has private emails but it will take much longer time to play and there will be no fun to play like this. I don't think it is stupid to play chess this way. Rather, it will promote friendship and democracy ( majority vote rule )
