This is actually blowing my mind. Is this a real engine or is this theoretical? I read this about a week ago but no one has commented.

The idea of a rocket engine that electrically (magnetically) accelerates plasma has been around for a few decades. Although VASIMR is a strong contender for alternatives to current combustion fuels technology, the big problem with this and numerous other concepts is still THRUST. "Mars in 39-days" math doesn't work well if the rocket engine thrust is only a few dozen Newtons worth.

"Did you see this joker saying that space travel was a hoax?" I've seen idiotic arguments like that --- along many subjects --- from a large number of "jokers", Winslow. These joker-types nothing more than conspiracy theory hacks.

Could this club be spared truly low-quality youtube links like that on 15-Feb-18, 21:42? Please? I am not even going to try to censor out such shit from the Club, which would be a sheer impossibility. Instead, I have tried to elect classy Club Members from all over this world to put together a high-quality "orchestra", the products of which could also be recommended to outsiders.

The different languages in this video are irrelevant. Anyone can understand what's going on. I hope.... Please play the actual performance loud.

Mars; 4-Billion years ago
Music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.www.youtube.com It could very well have had the ingredients for life. The beginnings of Micro-organisms and such. But a strange twist of fate prevented it. Mars lost most of her Atmosphere. Radiation sterilized the surface. (maybe not underground though).
