Man Club Expectations:
Okay, this is never an easy task; undertaking a new Club or Team as the tone has to be set early...

I don't care which topic anyone chooses to start or engage. (Actually, this is inaccurate: politics & religion) My one request would be that we keep 'in-fighting' to a minimum, trying to avoid generalities that may genuinely offend a subset from any nation. If it's in good humor and the person responds in kind, no worries. That's the line I have to determine. I'm certainly shrewd enough to know when trouble is on the horizon as I've always lived that life.

I don't aim to create a divided club; just a club of international MEN and WOMEN, devoid of any metro-sexual weaklings who bring hyper-emotional sensitivities to the forefront. This is not a license to be in full-time attack mode, however. That being said, I'm always on the lookout for any faction developments. We have to be on the same proverbial page.

I'll be the first one to point out my flaws, either thru anecdotes, general observations or replies to any given set of topics. I'm interested in the same, in return.

I want to laugh when I visit The Man Club, not sift thru bickering.

Man-Up.

-Mr. M

umm, I think this comment is aimed at me and my comments towards my friends from OZ.

All I can say is, I love my Aussies; great country, absolutely great people, wonderful weather and beaches.

The women are hot, and the men are feckless...makes for great times at the clubs.

New Thread Cumming
I think this club could use some "alternate" discussions. Check out the GLBt (Gay Lesbian Bisexual Tran-sexual) thread.

Okay...
At some point, I'm going to make the goals much clearer at the Man Club and revisit the MODERATION policy. I think the goals are abundantly clear, yet I suppose they should be reflected on the Club Profile Page.

It's pretty clear that I may need at least one (1) person with a similar vision to guide this train wreck.

This person will be from a different time zone than my own. Once we get on the same page via some conversations, I will give this person some discretion to consider.

Over n' out.

I love it, another mod we can insult...

Lol.
Still haven't developed the new Man Club mod., policy as finding these words take careful consideration.

I've been in discussion with the Mod candidate and I like his firm replies. He makes it clear to me, that although we have different demeanors and ways of 'handling business,' we are on the same page.

That's Man material, me thinks!

"Man Club tastes... like a cigarette should!". Then there is, "Man Club! Tastes like a cigarette should!". Or maybe some spokesman will simply come in and put the debate to rest and state, "Man Club tastes like a cigarette should!"

I think I've found my Man.

Well, I hope it's not Mistee. I like to insult blokes but not the ladies.

...its due to the "twisted" way me Mum raised me.

Dude,
I would never expose Mistee to the certain pain that's going to come in trying to navigate this semi-controlled chaos.

And Mistee THANKS Mr. M for that!

Well, if offered, you could always turn Mr M down, I'm sure he's very used to rejection from the ladies.

Of course
the role of antagonist has been assigned to Postalpeet.

Chilliman
is now a Moderator. I cannot run this beast alone, nor should I as I need most of the moderation.

More to come later.

Is my role official? I don't see a GK designation.

...my condolences to Chilli...hope it's not a 8 sec rodeo bull ride.

I hope I can live up to your lofty expectations dude

Hey, you're an Aussie, that's about 10 times better than the average clown that's on GK...but with Mr M as a yard stick, I know it's not much.

...sorta like being the tallest midget in the circus...

Just a reminder...
Shamash just wrote a great anecdote from his college years, involving a female companion. He managed to avoid the words "Sex, F-bomb" or any other word depicting the obvious.

It's a perfect example of how to describe such encounters... Use some poetic license when relaying tales.

Of course, I'm prone to hyper-aggressive outbursts at times as I have the emotional development of a 12 year old, so just continue to ignore my personal vendettas.

Chilli is in charge of keeping me 'in check.' I realize profanity is the preferred method of speech for many, including myself, and sometimes cannot be avoided in order to properly describe a specific setting... In such cases, please use "Eff" in lieu of F!#$... Etc, you get the gist.

I think my main task is to moderate MrM (just kidding boss/champ/slick etc)

04-Feb-14, 13:35

Chilli
at the rate the Man Club is going, you should definitely consider this a part-time job... You may come to work one morning and see the locks have been changed with a big 'Out Of Business' sign gracing the entrance.

this role may damage my resume...

Dude,
listing me as an employer is not advised, however, please see my posts regarding such resume matters for guidance.

Chilli,

DO NOT list on your CV; Man club moderation has to be ranked below politicians, pimps, Mexican drug dealers, and used car salesmen.
