Concentration Come to think of it, this is extremely important. Like earlier today, second game against Jack, I made a blunder in the beginning, and went down a piece, within the first 10 moves. Not only that, but later, he was able to get two passed pawns which very nearly promoted. So, the game was hopelessly lost for black, since I was black there. However, in the very end, Jack made a very lucky blunder. And, I was able to get a R, in return, turning, what was a loss, into a draw. But, the thing to remember, however, is that, had Jack not made that mistake, I would've lost. Plus, I also see where mistakes are made by not concentrating. The thing is that concentrating is the absorption of information, and that's needed to do the HW before making the moves. So, letting the guard down, for even one second, could spell disaster. So, the important thing to emphasize is that it's important to concentrate and study the position real hard. Concentration is actually what it takes to become a better player.
