who has done something naughty? You guys just cheer me up - thank you

Just kidding, BP My team, Miami Dolphins, almost beat Denver Broncos in Denver yesterday. Too many injuries wiped out our defense. Can't have that when you're playing against Peyton Manning.

Cowboys pulled one out
Well Dallas pulled one out of the fire. Sets up the big game for Thursday, Cowboys and Eagles both 8-3. Beckham of NY made some amazing catch if you haven't seen it pull it up on the net and take a look. Many are already giving it the play of the year award.

beckham catch
watched that whole game live this morning (we get the SNF game live here at 1 am monday morning) I record it and spend monday watching it. Tonight we get NFL roundup which shows the highlights from around the leagues, That Beckham catch was truly amazing.

|
I tried to replicate that catch. My back doctor says I might be out of traction in a month or so.
|
|
Turkey Day
Well Dallas certainly turned in a turkey yesterday as the eagles gobbled them up.

My gal watches football with me. She tells me that the Cowboys and the Fish-team ( Miami Dolphins ) have girly uniforms. She thinks they look like bridesmaids.

its official
Raiders are now the strongest team in the US. why? - well at 1-11 they are holding up the whole of the league.
|
|
Ed, I agree about the Miami uniforms. It hard to wear teal & look fearsome...
|
|
1pocket... and then there is that smiling dolphin jumping thru the sun on the helmets. heh... it's fun though. I like the dolphins this year... playing good football despite not having the big stars.

I would like to see the Panthers win
I'm not partial to football, but since it's the hometown team, I'm glad to see that they made the playoffs and I hope they win. I think they have the prettiest outfits in the....whatever the football conference thingy is called. They look really nice on the field with their white/blue/black outfits. Better than the red people.

Miracles
Carolina Panthers.....won.

Playoffs
Well the playoffs are starting. There sure are a lot of teams in the playoffs. Almost as many as republicans running for president. My pick is the Carolina Panthers to win it all. This will be the first time a football team has won the Superbowl and the presidency.

RE: penguin_ So, penguin_, since you have picked the Carolina Panthers to win it all, which republican do you pick to be our next president? solascriptura
|
|
@solascriptura
Ah, they say money can't buy happiness, but can it buy a presidency? It has been done in the past. Mr. Trump is the republican this penguin says. That is my cold prediction.

RE: penguin_ I suggest all presidencies in the modern age have been purchased, just depends on which PAC was able to raise the most funds and buy the best and most effective attack ads. solascriptura
|
|
Ah yes but Trump can buy it on his own, I wish he would buy me Aruba

RE: penguin_ Good point, nice thing about Trump is he won't owe any favors as others do when they enter the White House. Guess we have to discern if he is in it for the money or glory. It might even surprise us that he will be in it for the good of the country which is what I believe

@ solascriptura
My thoughts are at this point in his life he has accomplished everything a man can reasonable hope to in business and in many other areas. If he did nothing else he would be considered successful by worldly standards. I think and my opinion only is that he is in this because he thinks he can help the county and perhaps build and leave a more meaningful legacy. To be remembered as more then just a successful business man.

RE: penguin_ I believe you are correct. It will remain to be seen if he does go on and win, and accomplish what he promises on the campaign trail. Alas, hopefully he will not be like the rest with lots of lofty goals and promises with the same ole stuff
