penguin_ 03-Jan-15, 06:44	Reflections Hey All you Across the Street from Normal Types. I don’t often do this because it hurts my tiny brain, but I have been reflecting on the events of the last few days. Much has happened some good, some not so good. As I considered these events I wondered what could I learn from them or take away that would be of value to me and perhaps make me a better penguin   . We are all different; we are from around the world, different cultures, backgrounds, values and religious beliefs. It is important that as such a sense of respect and understanding for others and their differences be kept at all times by me. It is also important that I remember there are Gameknot rules to consider when posting in this site. Breaking them and causing the club or myself to come under sanction is not something I desire. Returning to the recent chain of events I do believe I have come away with a better appreciation for the above and for each of you as unique individuals. From this Penguins viewpoint it is unfortunate that an unnecessary and needless stir was caused over some posts and that some individuals became upset. This has at least temporarily taken a lot of the fun out of the club for me. I come here as an escape and a chance to be a little or a lot crazy and have some fun, within the framework of what I have mentioned above. I know of at least five present and past members of this club who are deeply hurting and upset over the recent turn of events for a variety of reasons. This breaks my heart. It's put a damper on the club. I guess I'm not the only one that feels like they've been rudely dumped from the tallest heights of the proverbial emotional roller coaster. It shouldn't be this way...not here. We all come to this site to escape the drudgery that life throws at us. We don't need to feel bad here and we shouldn't. The fact that we're hurting tells me that we're all good people, with loving hearts and deep feelings. Apologies have been made all around in private messages and here in our club forum. Posts that may have been found offensive have been deleted. Let's learn from our mistakes, forgive ourselves and others and move on. As club founder, I take full responsibility for what happens in this club. The buck stops here. Now....let's get back to the business at hand. I think there's a coffee battle going on and I hear music in the air. I'm still putting my top 10 together! It's a lot more difficult than I thought it would to narrow it down to just 10. We may have to have different genres. Carry on.

I probably won't even have to heat anything up since he's used to cold and frozen food. Hope he likes chicken and dumplings, pot roast, salted caramel scones and bacon.

penguin_ 04-Mar-15, 13:56	@ bigpeta I've been out buying up cemetery plots for the members. No headstones too expensive, had a limited budget so may have to go two or three to a plot. I think if we stack em that should work.
