i am cooking up some corn-beef and cabbage, with boiled potatoes. I am Italian but i like corned beef!!. It is still snowing where i live. I can't wait to see the 'Green'

In North Carolina it will be 80 today. Penguins don't eat a lot of corn-beef, cabbage and boiled potatoes but for St. Patrick's day they do, good stuff.

Not Crazy
Hey blokes, I once thought I was crazy but then I joined this club and realized I was the least crazy of the lot. (Lot is an English expression, I learned it from bigpeta.)

Cruise
Just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas it was our first cruise. We enjoyed it, I ate too much gained 2 to 3 lbs in a 4 day cruise. They had a chocolate everything day, that was something.

Our Penguin is an underachiever.
If you can't gain 5 pounds on chocolate everything day you're just slacking.
Did you go to Nassau?
Were you smart enough not to go off the ship at night? I wasn't, it was creepy.

Yes, got off in Nassau during the day turned left and walked around. Some of area does not appear to be too good. I was surprised right by the ship. But if you went right from the ship things looked pretty good.

Good to see you are alive and well. I love chocolate and did my best, but could not gain 5 lbs. Of course Penguins are only 3 ft tall.

Last time my wife & I went on a cruise to Nassau it was between two hurricanes.
We were in a little ship that was half the size of the big ones. Our ship was the only one that went to the Bahamas that weekend. All the others went to Key West, Florida because the seas were too big.
The seas were 30' or more. I went up on top at midnight & watched the waves breaking over the bow of the ship & covering over the T-bar area where the captain runs everything. It was insane. I don't know how we kept popping back up through all that water covering the front of the ship.
I talked to the cruise director the next day & she said that was by far the worst she had ever seen.
Never been seasick but can't say that for a lot of other people that night.

Yes we have 8' from the tropical storm on Thursday night. 30' that is wild, glad I missed that boat ride. Did you guys get any compensation from the cruise line?

I'm surprised they didn't charge us extra for the thrill ride...
No compensation. The fact is we got there & back so I guess that's what we paid for.

Well went in with a tire losing air. Came out with wallet $200 lighter. Can't fix tire.

National Doughnut Day
Well today is National Doughnut Day here in the US. Be sure to celebrate this important holiday. It is the first Friday in June. Penguins don't really like doughnuts but who am I to be a party poop.

Went to a wedding of a friend of mine who is a police officer.
Instead of a cake they had a stick tree with all the branches full of doughnuts.
