Apple Mavericks OS vs. Windows 8.1 OS Many experts now attest that Windows 8.1 is superior to Mavericks. I have only started using Mavericks; however, I do not think the search feature of 8.1 can be beat. My 8.1 touts an I7 chip with a processing speed of 3.4 GHz and 8 GB of RAM upgradeable to 32 GB. I just order four 8 GB sticks. And I am adding a second of possible 4 HD's, a solid state 1 TB HD to install Red Hat Linux as a dual boot system. What is your opinion of 8.1 overshadowing Mavericks?
