curious
I am curious on the topic of why Grandmasters still lose. Technically at that level all games should be a draw. I am waiting for a tournament that I entered to start. When it does I will be back for normal play. Thanks to falconer for holding down the fort.

So many of them are drawn that I got bored with watching their games. Never anything exciting happening.

Why GMs still lose
Grandmasters still make errors, they are just positional errors instead of leaving pieces hanging. Once you reach a certain level you begin to perceive those much smaller inaccuracies and pick up on how to best exploit them. The level of chess at the very top is much more accurate and that is why there are so many draws...hope that helps explain it a bit
