Neither rain, nor sleet nor Snow can stop...Joe!
Well, I'm going to have to read your last annotation given that you weathered a snow storm to bring it to Tipsy's Place! We are honoured!

Thanks John. I have an older game. But, I had nothing to do with this game. Instead, I copied and pasted from a GM. I enjoy studying annotated games from Grandmasters. gameknot.com
|
|
But, this, however, was my most recent annotation. gameknot.com That's because knightrider62 asked me to annotate, and I was more then happy to do so.

Now, that it's open, it's time to post more. So, I will not be annotating any more games for a week and half to two weeks. As noted at WTWLTR club, it's due to the Farewell Season of American Idol, combined with, but more importantly, the getting ready for vacation. I'll be going away in a few more days and with work schedule, must get ready. In fact, I will be postponing my games by tomorrow. Might come back on Saturday before work. But, we're talking about an hour, at most, and more like half of that. After that, I don't log back on until I come back. When this happens, I'll find the time to annotate more, especially a completed WTW game at Reversion's Open Fire Mini Tourney.
|
|
However, I will be posting 3 more annotations now, and there will be plenty of time to comment, while I'm away. This is the first. gameknot.com And, what makes it special is that it was the first WTW game through a mini tourney because, as noted, it's due to how I talked the talk in my previous annotations.
|
|
Here's the second WTW Game through the same mini tournament which, as you might guess, I post at WTWLTR club. gameknot.com

Edit:
To a post minutes ago. The correction is 4, as opposed to, 3 annotations. That's because of two mentoring with a new student of mine. This is the first. gameknot.com

And, here is the second. gameknot.com

Dammit Joe you seem to play more games of chess than I make moves in a week! I'm behind annotation alley once more. Here, have a drink on me. I can do the whiskey. I have no idea about this Pernod, in my neck of the woods that's a company that owns a couple of mass produced wine labels like Jacob's Creek and Wyndeham Estate. Which basically means the type of wine a decent self-respecting drunk like Tipsy wouldn't touch!

Oh gosh. Yes, I'm back but annotations are going to be slow. Despite that, I have busy schedule, in the coming days. In fact, I'm on the same schedule tonight as I was when I left to go to Florida because, last time, I needed to work at night. But, then, I had to get up early the next day to leave. Well, I must work tonight and then, wake up just as early tomorrow morning because I must work for the day. The next few days will be rough.

I've annotated another WTW game. gameknot.com

I will catch up, I swear Joe! Feel free to slow down. And take especial care, swing shifts can literally be killers; people driving to and from swing shifts have a much higher chance of being involved in accidents, and fatal accidents, than day workers or even fellow shift workers who are not on swings. Me. I word day work but even then I train. And snooze. To and from work! As sucky as the train is not likely to cause an accident snoozing on the train. Behind the wheel of the Paj, however, is a different story!

I have slowed down, but let me know, when your ready. I've annotated other games, including three OTB games. Now, two of them were against the legendary Jack Stockel. In addition, the last one which wasn't against Jack, I mentioned that there was another OTB game. Now, I was in no rush to annotate that one due to my busy schedule. But, things changed, last weekend. @stealth-invader: Do you remember our PM's, and you mentioned about Jack joining the website, and I said that he doesn't have a computer and wouldn't join do to glaucoma? And, for a while, I was looking for someone that might join, and, this time, I might have had luck. I just annotated the game that was one of the last things on my list of things to do, and it was bumped to the top. That's because the opponent is Loyd, and it was my first game against him. As noted in the annotation he might join this website because he knows that I'm very active here. Therefore, by annotating this game, first, should he join, that annotation would be the first thing I show him. From there, it will be annotations with Jack Stockel, and then, other members that I've coached and trained.

Can't beat 'em join 'em
Ha! Since I can't catch up with your annotations Joe, figured I'd just release a few of my own to the public gallery. gameknot.com gameknot.com gameknot.com Unlike your awesome annotations, mine are just notes I made as I played, no cleaning up. Just as Joe's is fine dining, mine is a diner steak on a Thursday morning in Reno with an Indian Pale Ale for breakfast. Not entirely polished, or healthy, but, meh. Nothing much else to do in Reno!
