Double Rook Sacrifices for 2017
Not much to continually annotate in this thread. Are my wins simply due to bad play from my opponents vs rating or is it a bit more sometimes...like my brilliant sacrifices and comebacks from the grave?Maybe a combination of both?

Who knows. You decide! But these gems no matter what my opponents rating is,whether it be 1200 or 2200,are fun and astonishing to watch through either of the links I provide to you in this thread. You simply copy/paste my PGN into the link and watch the game unfold move for move,or even automatically from move 1 to the end.

I admit, sometimes I burst out in laughter(sorry!)watching my opponents type in a ? or other written remark that may be insulting to me and then go on to lose at warp speed or become timed-out with my advanced blitz strategies! So,yes, they are holding both my Rooks from early in the game, but those Rooks are similar to the Trojan Horse from ancient times....that will stun you into reality by midgame when my army comes out of both of those horses and jumps on the board from your hands, hides in other pieces and stabs sharp swords, chains and nets in YOUR pieces, cutting your own army to shreds!Who needs my Rooks? You maybe, but not me many times!!!

Now,you seen my Q sac thread, right?Well,in many ways losing 2 Rooks with no castling on my side,is even MORE horrible opening play from me on the weakness level than losing my Q!!Yet,opponents still ignore better development, simple theory and more to become tangled in my web of annihilation.

So,taking an occasional peek at my tactics in these blitz gems may enlighten you to not only the bizarre, but give you a mini lesson in what NOT to do against a stronger player(sac or no sac) and maybe how you could have avoided losing to these horribly weak moves of mine if you were playing the same game. Some lessons can,do and will be carried over into your long corresp games.Longer time factors(3 days per move) under the same game positions do not "always" make a player play better! This is a fact, whether you want to accept that or not!

Laugh, cry, shake you head in disgust or amazement, turn blue with so much bursts of humor that you must bang your head against the wall to give yourself pain to stop...but what you see in this thread(double R sac),my double Bishop sac thread or my Q sac thread will be like no other games on GK,ever! Its a lesson to all, regardless of the players true rating strength.I take who I get in the GK blitz room when they appear! So I cannot guarantee a strong player all the time! But you have seen them in my Q sac game thread!Sooner or later in this thread,I will post a 1900-2100 player losing to my double Rook sac!We will see!

Enjoy this oddity thread,I do!

What the heck? With position below already on move #6....Qxh4!
My doubled pawns on the "A" file, along with blacks strong(?) centralized e and d pawns...how bad can this be already?Should I commit suicide?Or did I do that already?Hmmmmm.

By move #12...I break up and scatter his pawn formations with doubled pawns of his on the c and f files. This opens up the b,g and e files either semi open or fully open. His light squared King diagonal gives my Q some attacking possibilities. Also notice,if you advance the game how this opponent wastes time and tempo with early Q attacks. He should have kept his Q in a cage and let his other pieces do the fighting for him, then later unleash that lady of his!Typical of early learners! My centralized Knights play a key role in defending my mobile K doing their pinwheel dance of death...common with centralized Knights...that can retreat and come back a few moves later.

Move #12 after 12...gxf6:

Mate in one by move #38:

So the motto is to be aggressive against my silly moves, but do it in a way without bringing out your Q too early...let your other pieces do the walking! Also guard your central pawns with other major pieces first.Exchange equal point value pieces through simplification.By move # 6 above(after 6....Qxh4),I was ALREADY down a full 5 point value in overall piece point math. That gives you the game(in theory) with careful play!Careful exchanges, watching your central pawns and delaying your Q movements will all contribute to lashing me in the face with YOUR chains.I look forward to the beating! But not with this opponent, and not today!

No annotation here, none necessary!Random moves played by a 1370 player who had both of my Rooks early in the game! No,its not a proud win at all, just an illustration that some 1300+players need to stay out of the blitz room, until they can get a better handle on tactics!

He did manage to go to move 44,but my d3 pawn was about to Q in a few moves,so he at least seen that, and resigned. So both my Rooks gone very early in the game and I still end up with a 4 point pawn value lead in the endgame?

Sad day for my opponent, not me.

Rook sacs after move #7:

After move #44....d3:

Yea,yea...I know....1370 player against a 2300(well actually 2500+player,but not yet seen on GK yet) should normally be a whitewash for me.But see, those double Rook sacs should definitely take away much of that whitewash, even for a 1300 player, and this player is near 1400!So my handicap proves something! It proves that many 1300 players have no plan of attack,no good defense and no idea that simple exchange simplifications(in which there were many opportunities in this game)were ignored! If they were not ignored, this player could have stepped on me like a galaxy sized trillion septillion ton titanium shoe on a gnat! OUCH!

Trust me.when you are up vast amounts of material,it is usually best to simplify through equal piece value exchange! And do it from early on,not later,or else I might plan something else up my sleeve...like timing you out!
