tennesseehiker 12-Jun-17, 00:25	As I iterated earlier, it is those prayers that have sustained me over the past 32 years of my life of dealing with bipolar disorder. God has answered many prayers dealing with me. While God knows our needs prior to being asked in prayer to oversee our lives, His preference is for each of us to hold the other up in prayer. For this reason, I often ask for the first name of new friends so I can hold them up in prayer just as they hold me up. God has delivered me from my own hand some 19 times from 1995 until 2014 when I last attempted my life. He used the prayers of others to preface doing so.

If you have read my testimony, you will see that my poor mother has been the rock that has held my family together for many years with God's help and her reliance on Him. However, my sister also suffers from a serious mental illness. She has a dissociative disorder, also known as multiple personality disorder. With this illness, she has blamed my mother for all the problems caused by my sociopathic father. Two weeks ago my sister refused to honor my mother on her birthday. This brought great anguish to my mother. It literally brought her to tears. As you ar aware, Sunday is Father's Day. My mother is planning to be absent due to my sister's inconsiderate attitude. I am also planning to be absent for fear I will say something disrespectful to my sister. I just left the following text message to my sister's phone: I don't know what you think mom did to you, but if you can't bring it in your heart to forgive her, you can write me out of your life. Please pray with me that God will intervene in this situation and heal all hurt feelings before the situation gets out of hand. I humbly thank you for lifting up my family in prayer. shirlmygirl 13-Jun-17, 09:53	I am sorry to learn that, Jim, but I am afraid that family problems are only too common. I am not sure that telling your sister that you will write her out of your life is the thing to do. There is trouble between my own son and daughter. I do feel sorry for your mother. I feel sorry for my own mother for the way I treated her when I was young, and she has been dead for a long time. I was a very difficult child to raise. I am so glad I am not so difficult now, but I am old, have a "hoary head" and I am supposed to be wise.

tennesseehiker 30-Jun-17, 14:51	Request of Prayer Warriors I discovered today that I am "eligible" for a kidney transplant. I have a possible donor. My blood type is A+ and hers is O+, O is universal. Please pray that all procedures relative to the transplant will transpire without exception.

tennesseehiker 30-Jun-17, 15:20	Progression of Chronic Kidney Disease There are 5 stages of CKD: 1st being mild and 4th being severe, 5th leading to dialysis. I am near dialysis, and I need a transplant. I do have a possible and probably donor. Please pray that my transplant will go smoothly.
shirlmygirl 30-Jun-17, 16:53	I can understand your water retention problems, Jim, because I have them myself. I am currently having my legs wrapped to drive the water up out of my legs. My problem is caused by sitting in a wheelchair all day. I haven't walked at all for over two years.
tennesseehiker 30-Jun-17, 18:24	I will lift up your water retention problems in prayer. Last year my edema lead to two different leg infections, the last of which moved into cellulitis. I had to be given 3 rounds of potent antibiotics over a 4 day period while hospitalized.

However, I inevitably allow other priorities to hamper my writing such as Internet chess playing, surfing the net, etc. Please pray with me that God will help me to set my priorities straight and focus more on my writing for Him.
tennesseehiker 26-Oct-17, 16:30	Near Dialysis Sunday afternoon following church my BP rose to 207/118 for which I was promptly admitted to a local hospital. Since we suspected a possible heart attack, I was kept overnight until a battery of test could be performed and their results ascertained. I was released from the hospital around 6:30 pm Monday night. Then Tuesday morning, two men from my church took me back to the ER as my BP was very high once again accompanied by a severe headache. I thought I was having a stroke; however, a nurse diagnosed me with dehydration as the hospital had denied me food and fluids for more than 25 hours in order to perform the tests. I mistakenly left before being treated thinking I could replace the fluids on my own accord and in an effort to save money. I was extremely ill all day Tuesday with both a bad headache and stomachache. However, other than extreme weakness Wednesday, I was okay. Then today, I have felt great. Anyway, Teresa and I feel that my kidneys are responsible for the blood pressure and ill feelings. I see my nephrologist (kidney specialist) on Monday for a report on my blood test, which was run today. Please be in prayer for me as I am very near dialysis either way. Indeed, I am one percentage point away from dialysis, which will be inevitable in the very near future.

I feel he may be in real danger from an assassination attempt from the Illuminati. I heard it said on Youtube that both Jeb Bush and another top politician when asked about the President recently both say at different venues on the same day the President will not be around by December. This could mean anything I understand that but at a time when he will be away somewhere where anyone could be blamed for his assassination, i.e. Iran, North Korea, Isis ect, another Kennedy type public example of dealing with a President that does not toe the line is a real possibility. The President has many, many, enemies who would rejoice at his death just like we read about with the two witnesses murdered by the anti christ. Jeb Bush is an illuminati person and the son of former President George Bush (Senior) on of the men involved in the conspiracy to murder President Kennedy. Demonic attacks are aimed at him from all over the world and he desperately need your protection. I do believe that nothing can happen to him unless it is in your plan for the next stage of the emergence of antichrist. yet, I know that those that hear you within their spirits understand that intercessory prayer is what you require in times of danger. President Kennedy was betrayed like your son by someone in His inner circle just as was our Lord Jesus Christ so we humbly petition that this time those evil people that still operate in the same way as those that carried out that terrible crime will fail in any attempt that has been planned during the presidents visit to Asia. There is nothing anyone can do if you protect him him Lord, because you are the Almighty God of Abraham Isaac, and Joseph, and your people Israel. I believe it is in Your will for Jim to be a testament of Your grace in his life. Accordingly, I believe with Jim and his dear bride that it is in Your will for Jim to be healed and to stand up in his own power proclaiming that You Father God are faithful and able to meet each need we have. Through the blood and the name of our Lord Jesus I pray and ask, according to Your Word, for Jim's body to made whole for Your glory. Thank you, in Jesus' name!

I firmly believe that my weakened kidneys are causing all kinds of problems with my immune system. However, God is a healing God. He does not wish for His children to suffer. I am claiming another healing in Jesus name.

I want to also echo a prayer for our President while he is away on a diplomatic mission to Asia. I have lifted him up in prayer and asked for God to put a hedge of protection around him.

Revelation 12:12 We were not 10 minutes back home from our family's Sunday morning church service when a friend who lives not 20 miles south of us sent a text that there were reports of a shooting in a church near Floresville, TX. A person with phone video soon was on Facebook reporting a gun man had entered this Baptist church about 11 AM according to neighbors. You can see police swarming the area around the church. She reported that neighbors heard several shots ring out. Family, as our Light continues to shine forth I believe we're going to be seeing more and more such news stories. Remember that shooting not so long ago at a church I forget where now, but I believe we need to pray for protection against more violence against our faith in the future.
tennesseehiker 20-Dec-17, 10:02	Tardive Dyskensia Please lift me up in your prayers. I have developed tardive kyskensia. This is involuntary muscle movement of my mouth and lips. In my case, the condition is irreversible. However, it can be controlled to some extent. I am asking God for another miracle as the condition will inhibit my ministry.

I'm thrilled!

I need to pray for my partner as well for her to quit so we can live together long in peace, but the devil's power is much stronger on her, it'll take time and patience..
inhis_service 24-Jan-18, 17:53	Where to start? . . . Your prayer request here is commendable and also, I as read between the lines, possibly an open invitation for any helpful advice? You did not specify what or how you gathered enough strength to quit, because having been there and done that, I know extra strength is required for such a change in course. I've heard my own pastor say that for him it was only a matter of hearing Holy Spirit saying to him that it was time for him to quit, and so he did. End of story. He even added that he asked the Lord about the full pack in his possession – the Lord told him no, get rid of 'em which he did. In my own experience, it was something along this line: As a hard core Camel non-filter smoker for over 15 years or so I made a deal or rather a promise to God. I said if He would help me connect with a Godly, God fearing Christian woman (is there any other kind?) who I could meet and hopefully marry I would quit smoking. With Psalm 37:4 as my “marker” - meaning I was going to “delight” myself in the Lord and He was going to “give me the desires of my heart”. Leaning into the Lord for strength as I delighted myself in Him I proceeded to start a membership at e-harmony, a singles website. All along I'm still smoking but I am asking God to begin introducing me to prospective ladies who may be agreeable to get to know me. But I serious about quitting in that i'm promising God that I will when it appears that a lady is interested in me, and so on. In less than 4 months one lady I met on the website is now my wife of nearly 9 years, and when she said, “I do” to my marriage proposal I quit. Just like that. Have not had a smoke since. Praise be to God! That is my story. Your partner is going to have to make up her mind, like you did. It is that simple. We can beat this, especially if we allow the Lord to help. Which I'm sure is how you did it, right? How much does you partner love Jesus? It will have to start there I believe. I will pray and agree with you that if she asks for strength for herself to do this she will get the strength she needs, okay? Love is the motivation – as it was for me. “Delighting myself in the Lord”. God bless you, for being strong in Jesus.
