Thank you, sir, for your advise. Very good for you, yes, sir.

As for my lady, to put it simply - she lacks faith and therefore succumbs to devil's temptation.

I tell her patiently, let us not sin and live long as good man and woman, lest suffering and death will come unto us much sooner; I tell her she'll leave me much sooner a widower and that'll be a great shame and in attempt to encourage her I tell her that I'll not have another after partner should she leave me sooner in future and that I will spend rest of my life in solitude.

But it's hard, even advises are given gently and with patience, she often rebels.

I speak less on the matter nowadays, and instead try to show her the right path with my faith alone. It's hard.

2 Corinthians 6:14 . . .
In neither of your prayer request posts did you mention if you and your lady friend are married. More importantly, you didn't say if she were a Christian.

I'm glad you are not nagging her. Still, as I indicated by my last message SHE is the one to make up her mind. Just as you did.

Tread carefully, brother. Perhaps the best thing we can do here is step back and simply pray for the Lord Jesus to lead her as He leads all of us who will follow.

Due to be married in 2 years.

Christian by birth yes, but rather agnostic, if not atheist.

Patient man I shall be, sir, thank you.

Utopian
With God ALL things are possible together, if you can, seek, spend time in studying God’s Word, praying together, worshiping with one another, making the Lord the CENTER of your relationships, everything else will simply fall into place. That is what inhis_service and I do! He is OUR very core . . . We know we can truly face any and every single situation because God IS our Strength, our Peace, our Joy, our Hope . . . Our EVERYTHING . . . It truly is a love relationship . . . Our love for one another grows deeper, richer, sweeter because of the time we spend together with Christ!

A Good Cause . . .
Going through my emails this morning I spent some time looking at information from the ACLJ. (aclj.org) The American Center for Law and Justice, headed by Jay Sekulow. One of the battles they have been wagging is fighting the persecution of Christians. They are getting the word out and there have been positive results and recognition of this problem.

The ACLJ is a legal Christian ministry which is battling for Christian rights at the UN and religious freedoms here in America, in our Congress and at the Supreme Court.

Our freedoms are daily being assulted by forces opposed to our Christian principles. Our brothers and sisters overseas are also being physically assaulted and worse. They have no voice but the voice which we are willing to give them. I urge you to get informed and if you are led as I am to financially contribure to this good cause, I urge you to that slso.
At the very least, you may sign petitions for various causes they are working to provide justice for.

Thank you for your time, and prayers.

Praise Report
On January 19, after 5 previous hospitalizations in less than a year, my kidneys failed. However, the Lord was with me all the way. In fact, He used me to witness to the individual whose job was to determine whether or not I would live before releasing me to a regular room in the renal section of the hospital. After being released into my room, I was so weak that my mother had to feed me. However, many prayers were lifted in my name here, by my church, and by other individuals.

God heard those prayers, and He has continued to strengthen me. I have come a long way with His blessing. At one time I prayed for God to get me safely from room to room in my home. I have not once fallen. When I first started dialysis at a local clinic, my cognitive abilities were limited. I prayed one night asking for His help. Three days later I was able to fully communicate.

I came home using a walker. Now I am walking without the use of either a walker or cane.

The Lord is using me at the dialysis center. I have befriended a fellow patient. She is a beautiful, African American lady a few years my senior. We promised to pray for one another a few weeks ago. One day she mentioned that she needed affordable housing, a real problem right now in Metro Nashville. I began praying immediately using Philippians 4:2 as my basis for this request. Today, Mrs. Talley informed me that she found a place to live that she can afford. I immediately stopped to give praise unto the Lord.

Indeed, the Lord has always seen my through my health crises just as He does all believers. I believe He is waiting for us to fully put our trust in Him.

@tenneseehiker
Thanks for that praise report. It's a reminder that the Lord's strength is made perfect in our weakness.

Urgent Prayer Request
Due to an inflamed pinch nerve in my tail bone area and the ineffectiveness of a new drug that helps most people to sleep, I have actually gotten by on approximately 10 hours of sleep over a 5-day period of time. If I miss much more sleep for whatever reason, I will have to be hospitalized for the third time since November of last year. Please join me in prayer asking the Father to allay my pain and pull me to sleep for 8 or more hours tonight and over the next several nights. I thank you in advance for your prayer.

Please pray for my Dad
I just received a call from my brother. Apparently, my Dad had an episode during church today. He was taken to a hospital in Green Bay, where he is staying the night. They are not sure what caused the episode yet.

Please pray for a full recovery.

Thanks,
~Tim
