Saddest part...
I just netted my 1000th career rated win against a good friend and long time rival... and was hoping to share the experience with you all. Doesn't look like I'll be able to do that now 😢

Unless......
Unless you point out the game to us and someone else annotates it for you?

Sure...
Anyone volunteering?

I think it's wrong that they'd do this Jeremy. I especially enjoyed one of your annotations that got reported called, "shutting up a kibitzer" which I used against fiercequeen, as previously noted. As he had several accounts, and in fact, was the same guy who made it into the complaint thread in team captains of gameknot. I called either called silencing or shutting up another kibitzer.

BTW, Erika asked me to annotate this game a while back, but I've been busy emphasizing the importance of getting enough sleep. But, I found the time to do it, today. gameknot.com

@teardrop34...
... still looking for someone to annotate a game? If no one else is offering, maybe I could give it a go. I haven't annotated a game for a bit of a while...

I might have waited a little longer. But, the final position of this game was starting to interefere with my sleep. And, it had made me moderately tired at work yesterday, I decided to annotate it, once and for all. gameknot.com It was a matter of time before I'd do it, and it probably would've been yesterday. But, my aim's become preventing tiredness from getting out of control again at work. And, be it note that this place is an essential business and doesn't close for covid19, if anyone's wondering.

I meant, it probably would've been today, anyhow. But, I did it yesterday and made it public, second ago.

How white can draw or win the game ?
game
Me and brigade commander played Italian game and reached the following position. White had gained 2 extra pawns. Can white win the game ? Not really unless Black retreats his Rooks to other places from the h file. If so, black will play for draw. Having said that if white want a draw what is the best sequence of moves for white ?
fen="game
Black to play.

I just annotated this game. It was the first of 2 consultation games between my team and the opposing team. gameknot.com This way, ION gets to be a part of the action since I copied and pasted the votes.

Normally, I won't be showing annotations here since I accomplished my goal for the wrong reason, to make a long story short, which is why I changed my username and feel a lot better now. But, Fred left GK, and it took me a very long while to figure out why. On top of it, I made other players unhappy for the negative accomplishment when I posted about where chess helped me. I'm only a little unhappy that I made them unhappy, but the master mater leaving hits me the hardest. I realize that there isn't much for people to learn with my annotations. However, there's plenty that can be learned from this game. gameknot.com The reason for this is because someonelse annotated this game by GM Susan Polgar which I copied and pasted. And, as noted in the intro, it reminds me of the game that Ken once asked me to annotate. Since there is a somewhat similar scenario of being down 6 points and having an overwhelming attack.

After this, annotations will quiet down, for a while. But, I post here because I know that ION loves consultation games. And, this was one of them between my team and Knights of Templar, which the opposing captain requested for learning purposes. gameknot.com

Well, it's been a while since I posted. Despite what happened, the reason for showing 2 annotations, is that I didn't annotate and neither did Fritz since Charles has mentioned it. The annotator, in this case, was Stockfish 5 themselves. As I copied and pasted their analysis, and it had to do with me realizing that chess is a war from a video by GM Garry Kasparov. gameknot.com Well, this was the prequil to the second one from Sherlock Holmes 2 against his enemy whose a German spy terrorist, Moriarty.

Charles, Would you like to play a consultation game ?
starting from this move 29.b6 Since I am not sure that white will win, I want to find out the truth by a consultation game. You can use your best chess computer program you have to salvage the game to a draw. I don't care. So let's start.

Black ( Charles to move )

Thanks but....
Computer analysis, given in the annotation, seems to show that white has a forced win in this position, unless you can find an improvement?

Charles is correct.
It is futile to play the lost gain again and will suffer a great PTSD. If it is a lost game, then do you find out at which move do you make the fatal mistake ? Thanks for your response.
