I was really surprised by Black's moves (2...Nc6 and 3...e5 are unusual)
This is the reply from tennesseehiker: I am still trying to drum up support for the tourney. However, thus far the participants are tennesseehiker, dynamic_dv, tower919, and nambam. I will apprise you when other members join in the lineup.
BC did say she wouldn't play here as she's a member of KOH - so hopefully she'll join them too. It feels a little one-sided at the moment.
Well they do have
Well they do have dynamic_dv who is very good...
@cyrano
We have gone back to the start. So far we have played 1. Nf3 and we are waiting for their reply.

As far as I can see BC is not member of the KOH club!
I am actually
I am actually, but I am not looking at their discussions.

Anyone can read the discussions of any club - you don't need to be member, except for contributing. I was just surprised to note that BC is not member which is contrary to what 5imon just wrote
Interesting - I was referring to her comment on this thread on April 28th. <i will not play as i am a member of KOH.> Perhaps she left?
stal,as I said in my first post here we agreed that members of each club will not read the discussion about the game in the opposite club. ----------------- tennesseehiker apprised that also schachksky joined the game ----------------- Bc is no more in KHO.When she wrote that comment she had forgot it.

Elena, I know that rule! I was just replying to Charles, who seemed to imply that he can read club discussions because he is member.
Ok,now I got it
I don't think you missed anyone, Elena.
i forgot
that i left KOH. But very busy with a Team Consultation games and another regular one.And i have played in about three lately. I am a little busy with some other things at the moment, so can't join in here ore elsewhere.
I understand that feeling. As I explained in that club, as well as, a PM, I have also been very busy. For me, it was mainly the work schedule. But, I've been balancing that with going to the gym which left me little time to be on the computer.

Their move is Nf6 1.Nf3 Nf6 Make your votes,please
I vote 2.c4
It seems to score slightly better than 2.d4 or 2.g3

2. c4
is fine with me, too
2.g3
At the moment watching the center from the side and waiting for Black's response before committing center pawns. Both 2.c4 and 2.d4 are great of course.
My vote is 2.d4, as that's what we played last time. However, I have no objections to 2.c4. And, if we 2.d4 is played, 3.c4 is also an option and, as I said the last time before they resigned, it would sort of remind me of what we see in the Sicilian Defense.

I would like to play 1.c4 (I have played that way many games).
I like 2.c4. I've had good success with both c4 and g3, but c4 is the superior line.
2. d4
2. d2 - let's go for more usual positions...

Actually I don't know, but saw that c4 is more played Havin to choose,I would move c4
2.c4
2.d4 2.g3 and also 2.b3 are fully playable

d4
I suggest d4
