![]() There are 22 players, so how would that play out? Thanks! |

![]() Each round will also have a time control of all moves in 2 months. Any games still ongoing after the two month period will be examined and adjudicated as a win, loss, or draw. This will prevent opponents in lost positions from dragging out the game and from opponents trying to win from drawn positions. The third round will not be adjudicated and will continue until a winner is declared So there are three games in total. You accumulate 1 point for a win, 1/2 point for a draw/ and 0 for a loss. After the three rounds, the person with the most points wins |

![]() After round 1, all those who have won will have a score of 1.0; all those who have drawn will have a score of 1/2; all those who have lost will have a score of 0. The 1.0s are then paired against each other as are the 1/2s and the 0s After round 2 we will have scores of 2.0, 1.5, 1.0, 0.5 and 0 These are then paired off accordingly. It is possible to have a tie for first place. Your ranking in the tournament depends on how many points you score overall. The tournament is limited to 3 rounds because it could ultimately take up to 6 months. I hope this clears things up on Swiss style tournaments |
