The only "swamp" Trump wants to drain is those who can oppose him. Seriously. I can understand not supporting Clinton. But the total hypocrisy of people then giving Trump a pass is inexcusable. He is proven to be corrupt and a liar. He's just your corrupt liar eh? So drop the moral superiority mask. |

Actually you may be almost correct in all that… the only difference between he and our politicians is that he has not yet been accused of stolen valor and has not (as yet) been convicted of any crimes. (our politicians have done all that and more). He also is not a lawyer while most of our politicians are. (that should garner him some good will). BTW… his countrywide approval Poll rating is much higher than Congress which you seem to always be giving a pass. What is the integrity and honesty of Congressmen and Senators? HA… no comparison there, at least as yet. Congress critters and Senators do much worse than what you are complaining about. They steal huge amounts from the public, have lobbyists lining their pockets, utilize pay for play, cheat on AND beat their wives, and have stolen valor. Get a little perspective please. The fact that he has adapted so well, so fast to the Washington way shows that we probably sent a snake to drain the swamp. But I find it hysterical to watch the Trump Derangement Syndrome in full effect. You search for ANYTHING with which to criticize him. You frantically scurry around to latch on to anything (even the most trivial) to denigrate him. I even saw an article that was criticizing Melania Trumps' shoes. While lying about making a million dollar donation shows what he is, you concentrate on that and ignore the problems (and his solutions or extensions of the problem) in some really important things. I mean… which is more important: lying about making the million dollar donation and implying that it was his personal money OR confronting North Korea, fixing our immigration problems, improving the economy, ending our Middle East entanglements, ….? You choose to look at his statements to find any little items to criticize. I’ll look at U.S. and world events to see what’s more important (at least to me). |

(our politicians have done all that and more).>> Well, he hasn't stolen valor. Instead, he has called our soldiers suckers and losers. And America is certainly no better off than it was. How has the most divisive president in US history worked out for us? Brought us together as a nation? Seems to me like he has been colluding with Russia to exploit any and every chink in our national psyche to drive us further apart, and foment civil war. I suppose that is one way to restore Russia's greatness. By knocking the knees out of all competitors. |
