Partisan SCOTUS

It was a big blunder by the framers not to realize that partisanship would overtake the courts. The failure to see that partisanship was the greatest danger is why the Constitution is badly dated.

...maybe Biden can shepherd or at least mentor such a change.

No Vacancy
There will be no SC vacancies for years to come. This court will block any and all serious progressive reform. They will find against every reasonable law passed. Trump's destruction of the nation will outlast his presidency, even if (especially if) this court voids the election in his favor and he dispenses with future elections--actions more than half his support endorses.

I want a more centrist court of the best jurists out there. I do favor “packing” the court so we more justices like the average appeals does are don’t have 3 justices picked by one extreme President in one term who never was popular to begin in the future shift the court to an extreme; but the court should always be balanced and credible to the majority. The size hasn’t been changed in a century and a half and the court turns down most cases for workload. It should have been done before every justice became a battle; which is inevitable when you choose political views over balance.
