<If you spent one tenth of the time you spend attacking others on improving yourselves, you'd be saints!>

Sounds like massive projection to me. How often do you call people idiots and crazy and all other manner of trolling insults? It seems like you do it in nearly every post.

<But so much easier to scream about other people's flaws than to work on (or even recognize) your own.>

Physician is diagnosing himself! Physician, heal thyself!

<Very Christian too... for Christ said "Go forth and point out everyone else's flaws.">

I love when atheists seek to preach Christianity - especially after bashing Christianity for years.

Which leads us to this latest example of "liberal logic."

Christians are crazy and believe in an imaginary God.

Here's what Christ taught. Why don't you follow it?

Back to the point of the thread...

I believe in choice.

Minority kids need to stay in failing public schools.

If you criticize President Obama, you're a racist.

If you criticize Clarence Thomas or Dr. Ben Carson, you're standing on principle.

Rush Limbaugh is an idiot and liar.

I've never listened to Rush Limbaugh's show.

Are you pointing out our flaws, by chance?

The obvious
Just pointing out the obvious

Wow, that's what this thread is for! Good job.

<Very Christian too... for Christ said "Go forth and point out everyone else's flaws.">

No, He didn't say that but He spoke very strongly against hypocrisy, which is what this thread is about.

See the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 23. You'll find far greater condemnation from Christ against hypocrisy than anything you'll find in this thread.

I'd post it here, but it's a fairly lengthy chapter and I don't think sainty would appreciate such a long Biblical post in his club. I respect how people want to run their clubs and I would certainly never delete a thread in here on a whim as I believe you did.

Speaking of how clubs are run brings us to our latest example of liberal logic.

I think calling President Barack Obama "B.O." and "President Peace Prize" is disrespectful to the Office of the President and I reprimand the poster who does it.

I think calling President Trump "Groper" and "Hitler" is perfectly fine.

Wheeev!

I like the bible. Interesting book

You want me to post Matthew Chapter 23?

It's relevant to this thread but probably too lengthy.

Here's the link:

Link works just as good.

Those interested in reading it will click on the link. Those not interested in reading it wouldn't read it if I posted the chapter in full.

BTW and for the record, I'm not the one who brought up Christianity in this thread. It was a self-professed atheist.

Just mentioning in anticipation of claims I'm proselytizing.

They are Muslims when they fit your narrative archive.is

Not when they don't archive.is

Poor Muslim wasn't allowed to attend the snowshoe competition on February 1st 2017.

One month later he is in jail for molesting a 12-year-old girl.

Just another of the thousands and thousands of examples of anecdotal evidence that doesn't signify anything at all about Islam.
tower919
12-Mar-17, 20:21

Compared to the age of the "prophet" Muhammad's bride, the 12-year-old is practically a grandmother.

Just because I have a penis doesn't mean I'm a male! Don't call me Stan! I identify as female! Please refer to me as "she/her." My name is Loretta now.

Just because terrorists identify as Muslim doesn't mean they are REAL Muslims.
zorroloco
14-Mar-17, 17:35

Stupid
They're Muslims if they say they're Muslims. They're terrorists if they terrorize. One is not the other. ISIS/KKK do not define Islam or Christianity. Neither do Mother Teresa or Malcolm X.

Why is that such a difficult concept? Some people are good and some are bad.
saintinsanity
14-Mar-17, 17:40

Some religions are good and some are bad.
tower919
14-Mar-17, 17:44

You're ignoring the calls to violence and murder in Islam's "holy" texts.

Where do you think criminal penalties under sharia law came from?

Nothing espoused by the KKK appears in Christianity's holy text (New Testament.) Comparing ISIS and Islam to the KKK and Christianity is a totally false equivalence.
saintinsanity
14-Mar-17, 17:46

You can't expect a religion to be good if some guy just makes it up by himself and he's a crazy person. Although, the Mormons are pretty cool.
zorroloco
14-Mar-17, 17:54

All religions
Are bad. Good people act well, bad people act poorly. Religionnis just an excuse
saintinsanity
14-Mar-17, 17:57

Yeah, but some religions try to convince people to act well. Others promote some pretty terrible things.
tower919
14-Mar-17, 18:01

@zorroloco
Yeah, loving God and loving your neighbor as yourself, which Jesus Christ identified as the two greatest commandments upon which hang all the law and prophets, is really bad lol

Christ's teaching are fine. Christianity is not. Religion has been s tool of oppression and control. Religion is spirituality for the conformist... too lame to develop his own relationship with God and requiring a handbook to figure out right from wrong. Fairy tales for the fearful. Christ was fine. Christians not so much, although I have a great number to FB them as friends and family members

My most recent post was in response to saintinsanity's most recent post.
tower919
14-Mar-17, 19:55

Christianity IS Christ's teachings!

Christianity is ALL ABOUT developing a personal relationship with God.

Christians no longer live under the law but live in and walk in the Spirit.

That's why every Christian's "faith journey," or walk with Christ, is different.
zorroloco
14-Mar-17, 20:01

Lol
Sure it is. That's why the church has all this rules and why are there 487 branches of Christianity? Wouldn't "love God and each other" have been sufficient?
saintinsanity
14-Mar-17, 20:05

It looks like US law beats out all the laws you can find in all the religions.

Thank goodness Trump is trying to clear out some of this mess.
