QUESTIONS

Why do we shoot unarmed black men in the back when they run?

Why do these lives not matter as much as white men?

Why was the driver released?
Where is the Audio?
Why no official video?

When are we going to STOP this?

Because a policeman thinks that the car meets the description of an earlier incident does that give him reason to shoot a seventeen-year-old high school volunteer in the back?

17-year-old Antwon Rose was fleeing and unarmed when police in East Pittsburgh shot him
A bystander’s video shows an officer opening fire as Rose fled from police.

Is it police procedure to shoot young black men or anyone in the back when they flee? I know what people will say - "He should not have run" Well. that might be good advise but he is still dead and we do not have an answer. All the cop knew is that the car fit the description and he was running away. That is it.

Which amounts to a death sentence (without arrest, trial, or conviction) just for running away from the police! Very, very sad.

Black lives matter, but it was disturbing to see that Blacks are number 2 on the graph!

Killings of Native Americans by police is nearly 50% higher (10.3 vs 7.5/million) and nobody seems to be talking about it.

Isn't there's something out of line with this?

As long as policemen have no fear of consequence they will continue to shoot people. If you send one to prison that will go a long way in getting a handle on this problem.

Also, if there are so many good cops then why are so many people getting shot?

We seem to be getting shot by local police because of profiling, bigotry, racism, etc; but I believe "good cops" are more common in the FBI. etc.

There seems to be too many city/county police forces that act more like MS-13 than cops.

American Indians are the forgotten people.

You are correct there is something out of line. The killing of American Indians has been going on for a long time.

But I do not think a Red Lives Matter movement is coming anytime soon.

Police forces have become militarized.

That's a good reason to favor "All Lives Matter".
americanhorse

All lives do matter - and there are plenty of movements that support that but they are not as broad as "ALL" yes all lives matter but 17-year-old white boys are not being gunned down.

And do not assume that American Indians are only concerned w/ American Indians that in itself holds some bigoty.

I definitely did not think (assume) that.

I believe you I just wanted to hear it from you. I am impressed with your knowledge of world affairs and appreciate your position on these important political and social issues. Thanks, mo-1.

Did you read that softaire called me an idiot yesterday not exactly a moron but idiot is not bad?

Hey: "Idiot" is small-talk for an idiot ass-hole like softare.

Softaire is as much a bigot and ignoramus as he seems. It’s totally useless to discuss anything with him seriously. He is a one trick pony.

The name derives from a bounty offered on the scalps of Penobscot Indians.

It is no more racist than calling a black man "farm equipment."

I do not believe that incidents like this are uncommon. In my opinion crap like that is more common than not. It is only going to get worse.

I agree.

it's possible that a less published habit among too many cops is the most common: Pulling-over the ladies for some quick sex in return for a torn-up ticket.

>>Pulling-over the ladies for some quick sex in return for a torn-up ticket.<<

I actually witnessed this (not the sex) but the ticket getting tore up (yup) Highway Patrol officer drove all the way to the University to tear up a ticket another officer had written on this girl I was riding with. He heard the stop on the radio and later came to the University to tear up the ticket.
mo-oneandmore

Sex starved cops.
A cop once graphically explained the details of how a lady-friend who was accompanying me could influence him to not give give me a ticket and there was a cop in a small town I lived in who was well known by the high school girls.

That first cop can thank the preservation of his balls that I didn't hear about it until months later and had long-ago paid the ticket --- he's also lucky that he never pulled me over again.

The expected "action" the cops seek is apparently akin to Bonnie and Clyde movie stuff: "Bj and hit the road", and all the cop needs to do is deny it if the lady says anything --- It's simple for the cop: "The lady is pissed and seeking vengeance because she got a ticket (or didn't)".

Just to be perfectly clear, calling a black man "farm equipment" is horribly racist.

I support the Resistance.

That covers a lot of incidents, or acts.

Just suppose you were a cop, and were in the act of trying to arrest a person
that committed murder in your presence, would that person then have the
right to shoot you, to resist you having to make the arrest?

It is not right to make a blanket statement for all cases, some criminals are
known to cops for being violent, and resisting arrest, those people have to
be treated with reasonable force, in contrast to an obedient person that will
co-operate with the authorities, when he knows he can find justice in a court
of law, if he is wrongly accused.

Of course he doesn't and it is the cop's duty to defend and/or protect the innocent on-lookers and himself with all force that might be necessary.

Does that cop also have the right to murder a "blackie" or an immigrant because his vehicle tail lite is burned out?
mo-oneandmore

And does the cop have the right to take lethal target practice on a black man simply because the man can out-run the cop's fat ass?

Outrun
A black woman in DC had a seizure, and her car drifted into the White House fence. Police opened fire on her, killing her.

In contrast, a white man jumped the fence, ran across the White House lawn, and entered the White House itself. He was arrested peacefully, as becoming any person of his complexion.

The contrast could hardly be more black and white.
mo-oneandmore
03-Jul-18, 16:36

In another "contrast", some idiot white dude crashed his Gyro copter on Capital Mall to protest some idiotic conspiracy theory he believed --- that was about 30 years ago, so the details of the event fail me.

Thank's for the distant memories, Mo-two.
