In this case the mat is a long red carpet. So glad you could join us! We get itchynscratchy back in the club and I'll be beside myself.

stalhandske 05-Nov-18, 20:15	Having woken up in this part of the world, in between the USA and New Zealand, I'd also like to warmly welcome our two new Members, archduke_piccolo and obsteve. I have been GK member for some 8 years and admired these two guys, one for his great chess (games and analysis) and the other for his great films with young actors. As I have noticed, both are also quite able discussants  , which will be a real asset for Fiat Lux.

Stalhandske has started the club back up again, and we'd love to have you rejoin". This is nice when Stalhandske says that i am warmly back. This was Gameknots best club here: maybe we can have a clubtournament with some Opening? I like also when Some members had a unrated game and vote for the move.

thumper 04-Aug-19, 10:13	LS As I demonstrated the last time I was a member here, if I post comparably acerbic posts that you and a couple others here enjoy but from the opposite perspective, my posts would be quickly deleted and I would ultimately be removed from the club... just like last time. I was specifically invited to join this club by Stal who is trying to provide a more conservative prospective that's lacking here and yet when I submitted the application it was immediately and summarily rejected by one of those mods with a chip on the shoulder. We all know who. So ply me not with the 'we're the truly neutral ground club'. All evidence to the contrary.
