"Whack A Mole" tactics are Apatzer's go to whenever he's avoiding finer points on a topic he would rather not pursue.

"An elitist attitude that dismisses others by stating they wouldn't understand, rather than engaging in conversation, reflects a condescending belief in one's own superior knowledge or intellect.
This behavior, often seen in professional or social settings, involves assuming that others lack the necessary background or intelligence to comprehend a topic, leading to a breakdown in communication and a reinforcement of perceived social hierarchies.
Such dismissiveness is a form of passive disinterest and active devaluation of others' contributions, asserting a sense of difference and distance."

Yes, them included. Because in this day in age a person can board a plane on a work Visa and infect the entire country! As COVID 19 should have proved beyond doubt! Or illegals can bring it here with them. Or a child can go on vacation with their parents for two weeks to Africa and bring back something nasty.

And an doing away with vaccines is going to help how exactly??? You are the one playing word games and games of meaning. The reason why COVID 19 swept through this country. Why was it so effective? Glad you asked! Because President Donald Trump dismantled key parts of the U.S. pandemic preparedness infrastructure that hindered the COVID-19 response. Notably, in 2018, the Trump administration disbanded the National Security Council's Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense, which was responsible for pandemic preparedness planning and response coordination. This unit had created a pandemic response playbook used during the Obama administration. Its dismantling meant losing a centralized, expert team that would have streamlined response efforts .

Moreover, the Trump administration made deep cuts to funding for public health departments, including canceling billions of dollars in COVID-19 grants to state and local health agencies. These funds were essential for testing, vaccination, and community health worker initiatives. Cutting these resources weakened local capacities to manage the pandemic effectively . Additionally, two important Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) training programs—the Public Health Associate Program and Laboratory Leadership Service—were targeted for elimination under Trump. These programs were vital for maintaining strong public health infrastructure and local outbreak response .

Overall, Trump's dismantling of pandemic preparedness teams, deep cuts to public health funding, and disruption of CDC programs collectively impaired the country's ability to detect, coordinate, and respond promptly and effectively to COVID-19, allowing the virus to spread widely

And NOW we are doing the same thing but only 10X more. Because we have a politician who is a conspiracy theorieist, never having gone to medical school. In charge of our entire department of health! Gee what a great idea!

And not only that. He is making millions of dollars from doing away with vaccines.

The first State
As of September 2025, Florida is the first U.S. state moving to eliminate all vaccine mandates for schoolchildren, planning to scrap requirements for multiple routine childhood vaccines in schools. This includes vaccines for diseases like chickenpox, hepatitis B, and polio, although some mandates that require legislative changes remain in place for now.

Others will follow suit. And yes, CHILDHOOD DISEASES will make a comeback and Florida will be ground zero.

have childhood diseases been on the rise?

Yes, childhood diseases, particularly measles, have been on the rise in the United States in 2025. As of early September 2025, there have been over 1,430 confirmed measles cases reported across 42 states with 35 outbreaks, marking one of the highest levels of measles incidence in the U.S. since it was declared eliminated in 2000. Many of these cases have occurred in unvaccinated children, leading to hospitalizations and some deaths. The rise is attributed in part to declining vaccination rates during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, creating pockets of vulnerability .

This increase is significant compared to recent years, with 2025 cases already surpassing those reported in all of 2024. The outbreaks have been concentrated in close-knit communities with low vaccination coverage, especially in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, but cases are spread widely across the country. The resurgence underscores the importance of maintaining high vaccination coverage to prevent the return and spread of once-eliminated infectious diseases .

And eliminating vaccine requirements is going to help.

I'm done.

Are you accusing me of trying to decive or be deceptive? Your going to have to spell it out for me because I'm dense.

Are you being lied to or are you lying to me because there is no credible evidence that the increase in reported cases is due to counting cases only among "afflicted illegal aliens." Increases in total cases reflect actual outbreaks primarily among unvaccinated or under-vaccinated populations across various communities, not a simple artifact of population demographics or immigration status.

I'm sure that illegals can and have caught these illnesses or brought them with them.

And since I'm asking for you to back up what you say with evidence. I will also In 2025, the United States has experienced a significant rise in measles cases, with data showing that the vast majority of these cases are among U.S. residents rather than immigrants or non-citizens. According to a CDC report published in June 2025, there were 800 confirmed measles cases reported across the country in the first four and a half months of the year. Of these cases, 99% occurred among U.S. residents. Many of the cases were linked to outbreaks in close-knit communities with low vaccination rates, particularly in states like Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Notably, 96% of patients were either unvaccinated or had an unknown vaccination status, highlighting the key role that vaccination gaps are playing in driving the outbreaks.

Further detail from the CDC indicates that among the 48 cases identified as internationally imported, 92% involved U.S. residents who had traveled abroad while infectious. These imported cases occasionally trigger outbreaks, but ongoing transmission happens primarily in communities with insufficient vaccination coverage. This pattern reflects the fact that endemic measles was declared eliminated in the U.S. in 2000 due to widespread vaccination efforts. Still, occasional outbreaks happen following importations combined with pockets of low immunity.

More recent CDC statistics from September 2025 confirm a total of 1,431 confirmed cases nationwide, with only 18 cases among international visitors to the U.S. Nearly all other cases occurred in U.S. residents, reflecting local transmission and outbreak clusters among groups with low vaccination uptake. These numbers emphasize that the rise in measles is not mainly among illegal aliens or immigrant populations but is primarily due to insufficient vaccination in various U.S. communities. All! .... Authoritative public health data makes it clear that the 2025 surge in measles cases in the U.S. is overwhelmingly among U.S. residents, many of whom are unvaccinated, with only a very small fraction of cases linked to international visitors or immigrants. The outbreaks are driven by vaccination gaps and importation of the virus through travel rather than by immigration status. This underlines the importance of maintaining high vaccination coverage to prevent further spread and outbreaks of measles within the U.S.

So how is the elimination of vaccine requirements for Florida's school children going to impact this?

And when you say virtually eliminated it would do you well to know what eliminated means in the context of these illnesses. Otherwise you just sound like your throwing crap against the wall to see what sticks because "Elimination" means there has been no continuous transmission in the U.S. for 12 months or more. Measles was declared eliminated in 2000, polio in 1979, rubella in 2004, and diphtheria has been very rare due to vaccines introduced since the 1940s!

Because of vaccination.

And one last thing . Show me where I EVER SAID Trump was responsible for COVID 19?

I presented evidence as to why our response to COVID 19 was hamstrung from the beginning. And his ineffectual poor leadership and lying made a very bad situation much worse. And when he was telling you, it's no big deal. He knew this ..

Surprisingly... from my AI:
Since we had eliminated measles from the country officially (in 2020?), the increase must have come from somewhere, but this AI surprisingly says that it was from American "RESIDENTS", not illegal immigrants. My take on this is that we DID have "RESIDENTS" (both legal and illegal) who were unvaccinated from 2020 and before.

American citizens, since 2020, may have stopped taking the vaccinations because of the government mandates to take the Covid shots or opposition to school mandates. The increases could have spread from school attendance with new unvaccinated immigrants. Anyway, while the AI report may be accurate, the cause of the spread of measles remains dubious (imho).
.....................................................................................................................................
From the AI:

In 2025, the vast majority of measles cases in the United States were reported among American residents, not illegal immigrants.

🔍 **Key facts from CDC data**:

- As of September 2, 2025, there were **1,431 confirmed measles cases** in the U.S.

- **Only 18 cases** were reported among international visitors.

- The largest outbreak occurred in **West Texas**, with over 198 cases, and was traced to **local residents** who had not traveled internationally.

- Health officials emphasized that the outbreak was **not linked to immigration**, despite some political claims to the contrary.

📉 **Vaccination gaps** were the primary driver. Areas like Gaines County, Texas, had **low vaccination rates**, well below the 95% threshold needed to prevent community spread.

So while immigration was politicized in some discussions, public health experts and official data show that **unvaccinated U.S. citizens** were the main source of measles transmission in 2025.

Apatzer: AI on new TB cases.
"However it seems now in America the motto is. If it ain't broken fix it till it is"

Ha... Good one.

We had measles under control. That and other diseases such as TB are now coming back... mostly because of unvaccinated illegal immigrants flooding the USA.
...........................................

The recent rise in tuberculosis (TB) cases in the United States has been driven by a mix of global and domestic factors. Here's a breakdown of where these new cases are coming from and why:

### 🧬 Key Sources of New TB Cases

- **Non-U.S.-Born Individuals**: Over **76% of TB cases** in 2024 were among people born outside the U.S., with infection rates nearly **20 times higher** than those born domestically. This reflects global TB prevalence and underscores the need for targeted screening and support for immigrant communities.

- **Post-Pandemic Healthcare Disruptions**: Delayed diagnoses and reduced access to routine care during the COVID-19 pandemic allowed latent TB infections to go undetected and untreated.

- **Increased Travel and Migration**: The rebound in international travel and migration post-pandemic has contributed to the spread of TB, especially in states with high mobility or immigrant populations.

- **Localized Outbreaks**: States like **Kansas, Utah, and Maine** have seen dramatic spikes—Kansas alone had a **150% increase** in TB cases. In Maine, recent cases were genetically unrelated, suggesting multiple sources rather than a single outbreak.

- **High-Risk Populations**: TB continues to disproportionately affect:
- **Racial and ethnic minorities** (about 90% of cases)
- **Older adults**, especially those aged 65+
- People in **congregate settings** like shelters or correctional facilities

---

### 🧠 TL;DR: What’s Driving TB’s Comeback?

The resurgence of TB in the U.S. is largely due to increased cases among non-U.S.-born individuals, pandemic-era healthcare gaps, and rising travel and migration. Localized outbreaks and vulnerable populations are amplifying the trend, making TB a renewed public health concern despite its historically low incidence in the country.

If you’re curious about how TB screening or prevention works—or how the U.S. is responding—I’d be happy to dive deeper.

<< I tell you what. Since I am such a a hard head and slow to learn. How about you do me a favor and list those facts in a numbered list. And then put the evidence for those assertions under their corresponding number >>

The fact that Big Pharma’s deep pockets allows them to control and censor practically all news and information related to pharmaceuticals and the effects of these pharmaceuticals, even in medical journals, leaves gathering such information and statistics impossible for all intents.

The pharmaceutical industry exerts significant influence over medical journals and the mainstream media (MSM), often shielding critical information from public exposure. Medical journals, which are seen as authoritative sources of scientific information, are heavily dependent on pharmaceutical advertising, which can constitute between 97% and 99% of their advertising revenue.
This financial dependence creates a conflict of interest, as journals may avoid publishing research or editorials that could jeopardize their advertising revenue.
For instance, the editor of Transplantation and Dialysis rejected an editorial questioning the benefits of the drug epoetin due to pressure from the journal’s marketing department, which deemed the content unacceptable to some quarters.
This demonstrates how commercial interests can override editorial independence.

Drugmakers also influence the content of journals through other means. They often fund research and control the results, sometimes leading to the publication of studies that minimize risks or exaggerate benefits.
The practice of ghostwriting—where pharmaceutical companies write articles that are then signed by academic researchers—is widespread, with former New England Journal of Medicine editor Dr. Marcia Angell stating in 2009 that it is "simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published".
Furthermore, journals may be pressured to exclude negative trial results, and drug companies spend millions on reprints of favorable studies to distribute globally, leveraging the journal’s credibility to promote their products.

This influence extends to the mainstream media, which is often reluctant to critically report on drug limitations or harms due to the substantial advertising revenue pharmaceutical companies generate. The industry accounts for a significant portion of televised ad spending—$4.58 billion in 2020 alone—making the media hesitant to challenge the industry’s narratives.
Critics argue that this creates a feedback loop where media outlets, reliant on pharmaceutical ad dollars, promote industry-friendly messages while marginalizing dissenting voices, particularly those questioning vaccine safety or alternative treatments.
This dynamic contributes to a broader crisis of public trust in science and medicine, as the public is often fed a stream of information that is shaped by commercial interests rather than objective evidence.

"Roaring comeback in 2025? Seriously? What's the motivation for that hyperbolic statement? I suspect the biased media is trying to manipulate and make political hay yet again."~Thumper

I thought that I made the reasoning and motivation clear multiple times.

Measles is making a dramatic comeback in the United States i(that's not hyperbole it's a fact) in 2025, with case counts and outbreaks reaching levels not seen since the disease was declared eliminated in 2000. As of September, there have been over 1,400 confirmed measles cases reported across 42 states, marking the highest yearly total in more than three decades. This surge far exceeds last year’s total of 285 cases and even surpasses the large outbreaks of 2019, which were previously the highest post-elimination numbers. Nearly all of these recent cases—over 92%—involve individuals who are either unvaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown, and multiple deaths have occurred in unvaccinated children and adults. Hospitalization rates are also up, with 12% of cases requiring hospital care, further underscoring the seriousness of the situation.

The sharp rise in measles has been directly linked to declining vaccination rates, which in many jurisdictions have fallen below the crucial 95% threshold needed for herd immunity and community protection. Policy changes such as Florida’s decision to eliminate long-standing school vaccination requirements for measles and other preventable diseases have made communities especially vulnerable, and outbreaks have been concentrated in regions where such protections have been rolled back. Leading health experts, including epidemiologists and pediatricians, agree that maintaining high vaccination coverage is essential for preventing outbreaks, and the loss of these requirements creates conditions ripe for measles to spread—especially in close-knit communities with frequent gatherings and barriers to accessing healthcare., this public health crisis is not political spin or media exaggeration; it is well-documented by the CDC, state health departments, Johns Hopkins, and independent epidemiologists. There is broad consensus among public health experts that the return of measles was inevitable as vaccine coverage declined, driven both by pandemic-era disruptions and deliberate policy decisions. Measles is extremely contagious—much more so than flu or COVID—and outbreaks can quickly spiral in under-immunized populations, especially when mandates are lifted. The current surge and renewed risk of endemic transmission reflect real data and demonstrated consequences, not political hyperbole.

And the reason for that surge is unvaccinated Americans. Because of conspiracy theories spread by the likes of RFK.

Florida doing away with school mandatory vaccinations is going to be great 👍👍.

RFK I'll say it again...
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made millions of dollars from his anti-vaccine activism and spreading conspiracy theories about vaccines. Financial disclosure documents and investigative reports reveal that in the last few years, Kennedy earned upwards of $1.2 million from his anti-vaccine nonprofit organization, Children's Health Defense. Additionally, he made significant money from referral fees linked to lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers like Merck. Reports detail that Kennedy's organization received tens of millions of dollars in revenue through donations and other funding, although some declined after he stepped back from leadership to run for president. Overall, Kennedy has profited in the millions by promoting vaccine misinformation and related conspiracy theories through his nonprofit, legal work, and public advocacy .

To summarize financial highlights:

$1.2 million earned disclosed from his anti-vaccine nonprofit

Referral fees from lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers, reportedly in the millions

His organization, Children's Health Defense, had annual revenues in the tens of millions before recent declines

Millions sourced from donations and legal cases associated with anti-vaccine campaigns

This financial picture indicates that RFK Jr. has made substantial money off conspiracy theories about vaccines.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has widely propagated conspiracy theories about vaccines for many years, including repeatedly claiming that childhood vaccines cause autism, despite overwhelming scientific evidence disproving this link. He has also promoted misinformation about Covid-19 vaccines, alleging they are exceptionally dangerous and calling them “the deadliest vaccine ever made,” which misrepresents safety data and ignores robust scientific studies. Additionally, RFK Jr. has suggested that government health agencies, such as the CDC, are hiding key vaccine safety data in secret databases, perpetuating narratives of widespread cover-ups. As the leader of the activist group Children’s Health Defense, he has consistently amplified false claims about vaccines and pandemic policies, including advocating for unapproved treatments and questioning established medical science around HIV and AIDS. His statements and activism have generated confusion and mistrust in public health circles, prompting officials and family members to voice concerns about the danger of his views and their effect on vaccine policy. Medical, scientific, and legislative communities widely agree that RFK Jr. is one of the most prominent spreaders of vaccine-related conspiracy theories and medical misinformation in the United States, with documented evidence of his influence dating back over a decade. His positions have repeatedly been challenged and fact-checked by both U.S. and global experts, who attribute growing skepticism about health recommendations in part to this persistent campaign of disinformation.

The spread of such vaccine conspiracy theories by RFK Jr. has led to direct harm, including deaths, in other countries. The most serious case is the deadly 2019 measles outbreak in Samoa, where RFK Jr.’s anti-vaccine messaging and visits, amplified by local activists, contributed to widespread fear and a dramatic drop in vaccination rates. After misinformation campaigns and a nurse’s error stoked panic, national measles immunization rates fell from 70% to less than 30%. As a result, a severe epidemic swept through Samoa, infecting thousands and ultimately killing 83 people, mostly children under the age of four. Health officials from Samoa, Hawaii, and global infectious disease experts directly attributed these deaths to the anti-vaccine rhetoric spread by RFK Jr. and his allies. Experts warn that similar waves of misinformation may increase the risk of outbreaks and deaths in other countries whenever vaccination rates drop due to conspiracy theories. The Samoan tragedy stands as a stark example of the real-world consequences of RFK Jr.’s global anti-vaccine activism, emphasizing how dangerous misinformation can fuel preventable deaths and undermine progress in public health worldwide.

But hey, what do I know. I'm sure a leopard will change his spots.
