I cannot count the number of people who have told me they wish that whatever is going to happen would just get on with it. That this waiting for the thing in the darkness is unbearable.” I came across this image on reddit today. The post was titled “Feeling of impending doom??” but the screenshot is from a comment on a youtube video. I posted about the comment on Twitter and got very strong reactions. Many posters identified with this feeling and I want to discuss this. Today in March of 2024 we’re in a particular moment of history. In the background the various slow-motion crises of our age have been steadily pitching up like an over-tuned violin string. Nothing extreme, just everything annoyingly sharp and a steadily rising whine. Rent is up. Wheeeeeeee. Groceries cost more. Eeeeeeiiii. Global warming. Eeeeeeeee. Israel Palestine. Eeeeeeeeeeeiiii. Terrorist attack in Russia. Eeeeeeeeeiiiiii. Trump is up in the polls. Eeeeeeeeiiiii. Can’t get a job. Eeeeeee. Normies are on edge. Something is about to snap. It’s not enough to unplug from social media. Some of these things, like Israel/Palestine are really (should be) nothingburgers, and of course the media apparatus is precisely designed to keep you locked in and constantly at a point of maximum excitement: this is going to provoke a lot of general background anxiety. But this is different. There are real looming problems that can’t be turned away from: decline in living standards, rise of crime. The slow collapse of the liberal world order. Airplanes falling out of the sky. Loneliness. These make a dark matter of occurrence that is all the more anxiety-producing because it can’t be well perceived or understood through typical media channels. They can only be experienced first-hand but vaguely and indirectly, like a titanic shift in current in the depths below placid waters. So I don’t dismiss this feeling as age-related or as the consequence of social media addiction. There are deep cycles at work. And the feeling is widespread. Add to this the coming election. I am not saying this anxiety is specifically about Trump; it is much larger than that. However, in these next few months the election will be the lens for these anxieties, in that it will gather and reflect and intensify them. It’s a one-way gate. This particular historical in-between moment is real. In the period we occupy now, we are waiting. It seems that every factor has been precisely balanced to amplify the feeling of uncertainty. Trump could be arrested before the election, but he could also delay, deny, and appeal his way over the finish line. He could fined a billion dollars, but he could also cash out his multi-billion dollar twitter clone. He could again be locked out by an election fortification, or Biden’s unpopularity could sweep him into office with an un-cheatable margin. He could even win and sweep out his enemies from DC, or his second presidency could be another ineffectual tangle. Anything is still possible, and either outcome is extreme. The stakes are higher this time, we’re in late-game poker. The sky is lurid red. Add to this a sense of bracing for COVID: The Sequel. Even normies understand in their hindbrains that the exceptions of the COVID crisis were linked to the election. What’s next in store for us as we gear up for 2024? We whisper: what could possibly be more exceptional than a pandemic? A war? So everyone waits. There’s nothing to be done. In a few months we’ll be back in the flow of history, but right now, the winning move is to wait and see. Business leaders go on CNN and make some cautiously balanced statements about perhaps preparing for a Trump presidency. The fed remains ambiguous and non-committal. DC apparatchiks hold off on plans to move either inside or outside the beltway. RW twitter descends to bickering. The culture’s stuck. It’s like some terribly anxious play where the party’s over and the guests are trapped, but the murderer hasn’t struck yet in Act 2 so there’s nothing more to do than pour another drink, watch the heat lightning, and pray for the storm. I am waiting too. Part 2” youtu.be Video is 9:29 My understanding is construction of the Third Temple doesn’t have to begin immediately after the sacrifice of one or more red heifers because it’s the ashes of the red heifers, which can obviously be stored, that makes one ceremonially clean. But this article says the individual whom the Jews think is the Messiah (but who is actually the Antichrist) will burn the next red heifer in preparation for the Third Temple to be rebuilt. Christians are supposed to have departed in the Rapture *before* the Antichrist is revealed, according to the Apostle Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament. <<Longstanding Jewish tradition says there were nine Red Heifers (parot hadumot) offered so far on behalf of the Jewish people. The first was offered by Moses and Eleazar; the second by Ezra the Scribe; two more were offered by Simon the Righteous and another two by Yochanan the High Priest; a seventh was offered by the prophet Elijah; the eighth by Hanamel the Egyptian, and the ninth by Yishmael the son of Piabi (15-16 AD). I think (could be wrong) five red heifers were sent to Jerusalem from Texas last fall and one already has been deemed defective. This is obviously all from the perspective of non-Messianic Jews. I don’t see the purpose of red heifers being sacrificed or a Third Temple being built or resuming the sacrifice of animals to atone for sins. But I believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah (Saviour of the world) and established the New Covenant nearly 2,000 years ago, but the vast majority of Jews do not believe that. |

But that’s not what the Apostle Paul says… “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18) The only criteria to be taken is Christians who are alive and remain (seems like a redundancy.) Doesn’t say we which are alive and watching. But the Rapture watcher said he has Biblical support for his position. The problem is his video is over an hour long and I wasn’t able to watch enough of it to hear that alleged Biblical support. But I plan to watch the rest of it tonight or tomorrow so will post what he says is the Biblical support later on. |

What I found most interesting… • A ”great deal” of the Third Temple has already been built (off-site from the Temple Mount and is in storage.) • The red heifers have to be sacrificed before October because in October, they will become too old. • Jews don’t need a Temple to resume the sacrifice of animals. They just need an altar, which can be as simple as stones and wood. But a Temple is mentioned in Old Testament prophecies concerning the Antichrist, who will sit in the Temple and declare himself to be God in the middle of the seven-year Tribulation. • The red heifer sacrifice is meant to purify Jews for the arrival of the Messiah. But construction of the Third Temple on the Temple Mount (currently the site of the Muslims’ Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque) doesn’t have to begin right after the red heifer sacrifice because the ashes of the red heifer can be stored. I’ve heard different dates on our calendar for Nisan 1, though, and have no idea which date on the Gregorian calendar is correct. Mark 14:54 KJV This fits with a nuclear fire starting the tribulation timeline. Also notice where Peter is! He's in a palace afar off. LOL! I love it. 6) The next one is interesting. Only today are there so called "men" claiming they can get pregnant. So I see a bit of that in the below end times prophecy, but I also see nuclear fallout RADIOACTIVE POISONING in it: 'Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see EVERY MAN with his hands on HIS LOINS, as a woman in travail, and ALL FACES are turned into PALENESS? The final judgment will begin with the parting of man too (the rapture), but also with the parting of an atom (nuclear). 9) Our favourite escape passage talks about sudden destruction coming down on people from above. The other three she mentioned were Enoch, Elijah and Jesus Christ (referring to His ascension to Heaven after His Resurrection.) Sometimes, I think the Rapture is overdue. But then I think what a momentous and consequential event it is and that the Lord’s timing is perfect, and I can better see the big picture. From the community page of the YouTube channel SalvationIsEasy… <<Just had a commenter claim that the Holy Spirit isn't the "restrainer" (in 2nd Thessalonians 2:7-8) who is physically removed prior to the Tribulation and that the restrainer is either government or an angel. Supporting the idea that the Holy Spirit within each individual member of The Body of Christ (we are the temple of The Holy Spirit) is the restrainer referenced in 2nd Thessalonians 2:7-8 is the fact that the restrainer is referenced both as a thing (neuter gender, verse 6) and as a person (masculine gender, verse 7) which is descriptive of The Holy Spirit and would not describe human government or an angel. Moreover, the only power that can restrain the Anti-Christ is the Holy Spirit. Not some type of political entity or angel. According to The Bible, only The Holy Spirit can restrain the Anti-Christ. After the Church (Body of Christ) is physically removed at The Rapture the Holy Spirit will still be present convicting the world of sin (of unbelief), righteousness (Jesus Christ) and judgment (for believers who go to Heaven and unbelievers who go to hell). But The Body of Christ which is holding back (restraining) The Anti-Christ is raptured 1st. And during The Tribulation The Gospel will still be preached globally by the 144,000, the Two Witnesses and 3 angels in the sky. But the Bride of Chirst (The Church) will be taken out of the way (raptured) prior to the Tribulation since we are not appointed to God's wrath which is poured out during the entirety of the 7 year Tribulation. Again, the chronological order of 2nd Thessalonians 2:7-8 is clear. 1. The restrainer (Holy Spirit inside all believers) who are temples of The Holy Spirit restrains. 2. The restrainer is physically removed (taken out of the way) at The Rapture. 3. THEN the "man of sin" (anti-Christ) is revealed (at the opening of the 1st Seal which commences the 7yr Tribulation). At the Rapture, we will meet Jesus in the air, receive our glorified bodies and then go to the Bema Seat (celebration) and marriage to our Bridegroom followed by the Wedding Supper of The Lamb!!! Jesus doesn't beat up the bride before He marries her... Hallelujah praise Jesus!!!!>> |

The parallels between the Rapture and how Jewish weddings took place in Biblical times are very interesting. You oughta look into them. |
