Churches—the womb of culture war and insurrection
frenchpress.thedispatch.com

We know conservatives are exploiting protections given religion to prepare for violence. Dominionism and Christian Nationalism have totally politicized Churches. “Render unto Caesar” and “my kingdom is not of this world” has no relevance to Mammon worshipping Christian Nationalists who are simply neo fascists. When the civil war get hot the incubator and first fire will be from right wing religious fanatics. So view and deal with Christian Nationalism as the obvious heresy and threat it is to everyone else.

Interesting. So conservatives are slowly preparing for counter-violence as liberals currently and regularly engage in (and perpetrate) violence? That obviously means conservatives are a violent existential threat that needs to be dealt with, right? lol

The culture war is all about right wing Christian control of our lives. Where you have political power you use politics and the law to oppress us while you prepare for violence mixed in with actual threats and violence by right wing militias where you don’t. The “violence” you claim comes from opponents is a response to oppression as we don’t have a democracy.

Right wing Churches don’t teach what Jesus said they teach Mammonism, oppression of opponents and fascism. Religion is just their sheep costume.

You say Christians will unfairly become targets? With their nefarious plans the Christian Nationalists and Culture Warriors need to be. It’s official—they are considered the greatest threat.

Christian's nefarious plans? What are those?

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

That’s Christianity in a nutshell. Who has a problem with that? Of course we fail some being human but the efforts still bear good fruit.

But that isn’t much of what is going on in these politicized, money grabbing churches. Spirt awakens, convicts and reforms. But they, many of us see, shin Spirit and want to use temporal power to force and impose an agenda. The self defeating association of Christianity with the Culture War simply makes enmity and is harming the faith. theconversation.com. Whereas simply focusing on what you said well would serve the faith.

I don’t like the connotations around calling something “heresy”, but Christian Nationalism, Dominionism and Prosperity Gospel doctrines to me conflict with what Jesus said; and to those of us who are Red Letter Christians who give primacy to what we know of what Jesus said and did, that is not really the same faith. Nations come and go…only truth is eternal.

The one from the original post where he tries to take over Christianity to control society.

Here you don’t see it as this is a conservative club in an ongoing civil war. It’s simply mirroring the opposition. The point is these Churches are a huge driver behind the divisions and cold civil war, and will be when it turns hot.

Take over Christianity? You righties are the ones doing that.

Every once in a while I see you pretend to be a wise esoteric understander of the secret ways.

Most of the time you are just spouting nonsense like this.

You are about to become a rightie. Hopefully you con't carry over your insane Alinsky tactics when you are working for good.
